Great beach bar!

La Perla is the quintessential beach bar, with good food and delicious drinks! The location (at the north end of Playa Potrero beach) is the perfect spot for a lazy lunch or to catch the gorgeous sunset.

We had a fantastic dinner here. Great drinks, great ceviche and great lobster and sea bass. All very fresh and local. And friendly and prompt service to boot. One of the best meals of our trip!

We stopped here for a late lunch based on a locals recommendation and it was genuinely amazing. We had appetizers and main courses and everyone was very happy. Portion sizes were generous and the food was great. I had the Ceviche appetizer which was full of flavor, the large chunks of fish were fresh and tasty. For the entree I... More

The service was unprofessional, as a client you feel forgotten and less. The food was uneatable and it took them 2.30 h to serve the dishes. After, the check arrived and it was extremely expensive. Not worth it.

Las Brisas can make a mean drink (or four) -- some of the best I had in Potrero. The french fries were also better than most; probably because of the extra salt one will crave after a hot day in the sun. They are short staffed, but that's probably how they can afford to stay in business so just kick... More

Fantastic casual atmosphere and the most extensive seafood menu we found. We had a whole fried red snapper and mixed fish ceviche and it was deliscious!

We were driving from Playa Grande back to the Riu after surf lessons and stopped in for a snack. We found it a great place. Nothing super but just a casual bar. Had a couple beers, tacos and Cokes. After we couldn't find our way back to the Monkey Trail we went back and although the staff had no idea... More

Go to downtown Potrero and turn left to the beach. This is where you'll find Las Brisas - come for a beer or two or for a full meal. You can't go wrong with the local casado dishes for lunch, or the gigantic whole red snapper for dinner. Definitely a place to visit to enjoy a tico treasure...
