Camping at Arrowhead Provincial Park and we went for a drive to Algonquin park. along the way we spoted the bakery and just stopped in. We were in love at first sniff. the Pecan Tarts are the best I've ever had and the snowballs are amazing... but maybe not the best if you want to stay clean... icing sugar all... More

Fresh ingredients! Incredible choice! (...how can they even make SO much?) Came in for 1 simple bakery item, went out with 50$ worth of good eats!!! And had NO regrets, besides the fact that, by the time i tasted every item i bought, i was too far gone to go back and get some more! I will make detours to... More

I am local and I have to tell you I travel all over the world and this is one of the best bakeries I know of. Baked goods galore. I know the line seems large but for every car there is at least 2 in the line and waiting is well worth it. Suggest- sandwiches, chicken pies, blueberry strudel and... More

Awesome pecan tart. Not too sweet, perfect crust! Ordered a couple other pastries, all great. Saw some other folks talk about the line, but there were 2 people serving and only 1 people in front of us on Monday morning, was a short wait.

I stopped here twice. The first time the line was 15 deep - on a Monday morning with only one person working the counter. I didn't have that kind of time so I came back later. The line was 20 deep, but I decided to wait anyway. After a few minutes of not seeing anyone at all behind the counter... More

We had rented a cottage near Baysville this summer, and this bakery was our base for fresh baked products. It is amazingly tasty and the texture of the breads are something we have never experienced in Canada in years. The focaccia bread and the Artisan bread were our favorites, but we loved the cookies, apple pies and the deli sandwiches... More

If you are heading into or coming out of the backcountry Henrietta's is a must. They have a superb assortment of bakery goods that will please the palate and fill the belly. We always stop here to get bread and pastries before going into Algonquin! It is a true gem and a must do. Get there early before they sell... More

We came to Henrietta's after friends in Toronto recommended this bakery, and we were very pleasantly surprised: the bread is decent, the pies are good, the service friendly, and the sweets are nothing short of wonderful.
