Well worth a stop if you are in this area. Exceptional food so well priced. Typically old fashioned tearoom with fantastic atmosphere. Tea is served in bone china cups from lovely teapots. Didn't want to leave! Will definitely go back.

Had a delicious lunch served by Nicky. She is new here and fits in beautifully. We had a fantastic quiche with spinach, ricotta and pear accompanied by fresh salad and Bombay bomb with pastry and salad. The Steppes always has a lovely friendly atmosphere and the window boxes outside are just full of beautiful spring flowers. It is such an asset in our... More

We visited Pembridge on Saturday and after our walk we stopped off at the tea rooms for lunch. It is located up a few steps just in front of the church (worth a visit while you're there) in a quaint chocolate box style period property. The staff are really friendly and the food choice was great. We went for the... More

This is a brilliant place to stop for lunch on a day out. I took some friends who were visiting the county and they loved it. It has a really homely feel and the staff are really friendly. The menu is quite varied and ranges from jacket potatoes, to quiches, to sandwiches, soups and a homemade sausage roll. I had... More

We only had cake and tea but absolutely scrumptious!! A delightful tea room with rooms at the back and front of the shop. Good choice of teas, coffees and cakes plus specials.

Lovely atmosphere and setting overlooking the village centre, in an old building with great character. Traditional table set up and service, and super assortment of cakes.

We went for lunch with my wife and our children. We had a great lunch, homemade with tasty flavour including local ham sandwich, soup of the day, homemade spinash quiche ... It was delicious. Desserts were brilliant too, sponge cake, walnut cake, but my favorite was the polenta and lemon cake. The service was great and staff was very welcoming.... More

This is our favourite tea room and we always make sure we stop here whenever we are within 20/30 miles of Pembridge. Unfortunately we don't live locally, so can only visit while on holiday in the area. Our most recent visit was back at the beginning of September when we made a detour here for lunch before heading to Ludlow... More

The best afternoon tea I have ever had - and I have a a fair few! I dropped by with a group of giggling girls after a fantastic weekend canoeing in Hay-on-Wye. We were welcomed into a glorious court yard (as we had dogs) and given our menus. Nothing was too much for the delightful gentlemen serving us, they were... More
