After touring about the Tuscan Hills one day, we found ourselves in Piazze looking for a simple restaurant to enjoy a small local meal. We found what appeared to be the only choice in town at Le Nane. Being the only customers there, we were greeted by the family, mother and two sons. When we asked about a menu, the... More

This is a nice restaurant, serving decent local fair at decent prices. The service was friendly and prompt, and the chef was attentive. The rabbit was prepared well, and the pastas were ok. There are not a lot of options in La Piazze, and this is best. If you want to have dinner in the town, this is the place.... More

We quite enjoyed our meal at this restaurant, and found the price to be quite reasonable. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time (a cool Tuesday evening in May) so it was a little too quiet perhaps, but the food was quite good, using fresh local ingredients, and the wine was excellent as well. We were... More

Good quality, hand made pasta, fine sauces, good ambient. Service much perfectible, never bad educated, just messy. Menu in line with the area tradition.

We would not miss an opportunity to eat here while in Italy! It is an absolute favorite since we first found it several years ago. When in the area we eat there at least several times a week. Gianna and Gigliola make each visit memorable with both the food and the ambiance. Our son in law is particularly fond of... More

Six of us rented a villa in nearby Camporsevoli and were lucky enough to find L'Osteria de le Nane. Gianna, the owner, is warm and welcoming and loves to explain the fresh pastas and sauces they have each night. We ate here several times during our week-long stay and were always pleased. The restaurant is filled with people from the... More

We have a place in Cetona and know the eateries there, and within say 50 kilos of there, very well. Le Nane is right there at the top. Owner Gianna, a vivacious local barista, actress, and restaurateur, works with her cuoca to dish out authentic game and farro (spelt) pasta dishes. Prices are exceedingly fair, and the wines are matched... More
