Great setting down near Mona Vale Beach. The decor is very fem and very clever. You feel like your sitting in a shop with flowers and nice furniture etc.. Hence the name. Food is great.. Milkshakes are fun and delicious served in old milk bottles.

Located within a few meters of Mona Vale beach, this busy restaurant is modern Australian food. Good service, though booking is not available so you have to take your chances. It is busy so be prepared for a bit of a wait depending on the time of day. Open for breakfast, and all day dining till about 5.30pm. Worth a... More

Had a great brunch.. BRT(Bacon Rocket and tomato) was excellent. It really was a BRAT(Bacon Rocket, Avocado and tomato). SPicy scrambled eggs and stuffed mushrooms - yum. Really no need to go on - just get there and enjoy... There is a little bit of a home wares shop happening there as well, which added a bit of eclectic clutter... More

I had heard about Armchair Collective from friends and we finally visited with an elderly relative. Definitely more of a young vibe - she was overwhelmed by the size of her chips with her fish and chips! Not a bad thing. The food is great and I did notice a similarity to the Boat House at Palm Beach and found... More

My fiancé and I love going out for breakfast and this was one of the best! Staff are friendly, the coffee is great and the food delicious! I had the BRT (bacon, rocket and tomato) and Ben had the pancakes. Standard prices (no where is cheap for good food these days) and highly recommended!

we went to the armchair because our friends had recommended it to us. it is always PACKED with longing consumers and it takes a while to find a table. I definitely recommend the bacon and egg roll and the raspberry ice cream spider. they are very nice! and, OMG, the chips are so good; they take you to heaven! definitely... More

This is a 5-star cafe simply because both the quality of the food and the service is excellent. Both my wife and I are now regulars each week and we particularly like the variety of the menu. The venue is quite trendy with its stock of interesting homewards etc but folk of all ages frequent the place.

Great coffee and food simple and well done. Place was full but service was spot on with a smile - this place is a notch above many other beach cafes and we'll be back.

Met the family here for lunch on a Saturday. Got in early. Food was served promptly. Great flavours and hearty serves. Fun just chilling out looking around at the homewares on offer. Could waste a few hours here drinking and eating.

Mona Vale gets one serious player now in the cafe/ restaurant arena with this busy concept. Food always fresh & fabulous. Great coffee, excellent if small selection of quality wines, don't expect fine dining this is a cafe/ restaurant, it's always consistent. Would love to see it open for dinner not just breakfast & lunch.....
