It's a quite a long time that I knew this restaurant which now is one of my point of reference when I'm around here. This time I started with the mousse of burrata and then I chosed the traditional vitello tonnato. I enjoied both: balanced fleavours, properly cocked, nice to see. All the other... read more

Priority of the establishment is to present the local cuisine from Padua. We tried the pumpkin starter with fig confiture and a divine Gorgonzola sauce, the ravioli with blackberry reduction, the tagliolini with fresh porcini. A smal deviation from Padova: the mortadella "presidio Slow Food" from a small manufacturer in Ferrara. Pasta is housemade Menu is in Italian with paduan... More

Very bad reception of clients, and very rude. After a year that i hadn't been, i returned with my family to this restaurant (i remembered it a good place to eat, but very slow in both service and food), i was badly treated in front of my family, only because i had asked -on a beautiful Sunday spring afternoon- to... As this is a Slow Food restaurant I was expecting something special, and was not disappointed. A friendly waiter recommended deep fried white asparagus which almost melted in the mouth, not at all chewy as asparagus can sometimes be. Many of the courses feature local ingredients, often wild herbs, and local dishes from the Padua area. My main course of... More

Even if it's considered one of the best trattoria in the area I would say there are many better both on food side and service side. On a saturday evening only 3 tables were occupied, service was too fast and not let you relax. Food is fine and ingredients are really good but not combined in an interesting way.
