Had an excellent meal here, dorado and salad with an excellent rose, one had a filet that was also excellent. I would definitely go back.

A very busy restaurant, but deservedly so. It enjoys a good position in the centre of a dlightful village. The trees provide very welcome shade. I liked the option that the restaurant provides of being able to select a starter and then move to the desert. Ideal for a light lunch. Although very busy, the staff are very friendly and... More

I agree totally with SSD55.It is everything and more. Would certainly go back again. GREAT. You must go inside to see the chandeliers made out of wine bottles, and the old relics on the walls.

Had a wonderful lunch on the patio - enjoyed a couple different Gigondas wines. Great fun, nice menu, excellent food, nice young servers. We both enjoyed a duck breast main course that was delicious. The interior looked beautiful for a winter's day, although it is quite small. Terrace was huge and great!

We were fortunate to pass upon this restaurant during a trip to Gigondas, we arrived at 12.30 and shortly after all of the tables were taken. This popular restaurant is in the most perfect setting in the village square, with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The food was great, and we completely submersed ourselves in the french tradition of... More

This was our second trip to this gem right on the main street in Gigondas, it just took us 7 years to get back. We had eaten here on one of our first trips to France and since we were going to be in Gigondas again we thought we’d revisit this personification of a sidewalk café. You sit out next... More

Lunch at this rustic restaurant was absolutely delicious - and, amazingly, the least expensive meal we ate in Provence: perfectly sauteed scallops in a light cream sauce served with small roasted potatoes and deconstructed salad, delightful local wine, and delicious desserts (rich chocolate cake for my husband, off-the-vine fresh strawberries for me). The village of Gigondas is charming with winding... More

We stopped off on a wet horrible day, not able to sit outside but made most welcome upstairs. Food was very tasty, service good would be really nice to eat outside on better day. Maybe another time, well worth a visit.

We looked forward to returning to this restaurant after visiting it last year--and were crushed to learn that there was a 30 min. wait for a table at the outside dining area under the plane trees. Seeing our dismay, the waiter asked if we could wait for 5 minutes. We were puzzled, but said yes...less than 5 min. later, he... More

My wife and I stopped in without a reservation and as it was windy asked to be seated inside. We were fortunate and were given the last remaining table downstairs which is rustic and is charming. We shared a half-bottle of local red wine. My wife had a tomato tarte with melted cheese and warm ham on a bed of... More
