I am very late on this review and hope that the person that made the experience at this restaurant so bad is no longer working there - we went back in July 2012. I cannot agree more with the comment from MNTravelman...I think they do NOT LIKE Americans or the service staff is not too pleased. The Venezuelan host (he... More

This restaurant located across from the Radisson Blu hotel in Anse Marsel is now called Da Tony. I supsect there is new ownership and staff since the previous reviews were written, as we ate there twice and had good meals and excellent service both times. The majority of the seating is under cover outdoors, with planted areas surrounding it, so... More

had a tough time going from 4000 cal american everyday to a sparse time on vacation/honeymoon...was going nuts so i went here and got some alfredo...HIT THE SPOT. I kind of normalised myself after that, which was good for myself, not to mention my wife! ;) needless to say, the rest of the trip every night i got pizza here!... More

we only ate here once and the meal was mixed----good, not great, pasta and mediocre seafood served room temp rather that hot. the service was rushed and not that friendly but it was very busy. we probably needed to give it another try---maybe

The food was truly exceptional. Both my husband and I enjoyed our meal tremendously, and thought it was expertly prepared. The down side is the service. Disorganized and fragmented, to put it mildly.

Opposite the Radisson Blu, this is an unpretentious Italian Restaurant, with attentive and helpful staff. We ate there twice, and on each occasion enjoyed the food and wine, and felt that although not cheap, by St Martin standards it was good value.

The name changed just as we were about to leave and I think it was renamed La Italy or something like that. It's common knowledge we found out that this restaurant does not like Americans and a number of other people we talked to confirmed this. After being seated and ordering, we waited an hour for our meal while other... More

I had lobster and it was very small and tasteless. The benefit was that it was across from the hotel. Anse Marcel is very secluded so if you want to go to dinner get a cab to Grand Case or Marigot. The pasta was very oily and I could not wait to pay the bill. The staff also had their... More

I had a shrimp dish that was out of this world - I'd give it 7 stars out of 5!! They also serve some stuff that's pretty plain (but still expensive), so it depends on what you order. The prices are high (as with most of the island), but the service was friendly and very good. We felt welcomed and... More
