Our group of five came here in May. What a lovely time we had! It was warmish evening so we were able to eat outside in the courtyard. The menu isn't large but there enough delicious choices for all of us to be happy with each of the three courses we had from the fixed menu, which represents excellent value.... More

Friendly, small town restaurant with formidable cuisine. The chef came over when we walked in and told us about the menu for the evening. He even made a small change to accommodate my son's aversion to mushrooms.

My friends have moved to live near here - they are lucky to have such a good local restaurant. the food was a high standard - particularly the salmon and the fondant de chocolat. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The outside of this restaurant does not suggest anything special. Entering via the small bar area, to a rather plain indoor eating area, did nothing to suggest that we were in for a high quality French provincial meal. The menu is quite short - two 'set menus' from which were were invited by the charming owner/waitress to select whatever we... More

We enjoyed our night out but thought it weird that all the other three tables on the terrace were also from the UK. Oh well can't be helped, it was a Tuesday! Food delicious.

Nice food from a simple menu. €12 a head for the traditional three course lunch. Weirdly, the bill didn't tally up to what we had but I only noticed it after I had left as I was rushing after my wife and child. Clearly, I should have gone back to sort it out but it was definitely incorrect so as... More

It was our first meal in France and we were travel weary, jet lagged and unable to call up any of our limited (very limited) French. Our server was helpful although her English was limited, made us feel comfortable and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Quaint little restaurant in a beautiful village. Menu is short and simple but adequate choices. One menu for approx euro 20 and one for 24, each with a choice of 3 appetizers and 3 mains and a cheese plate or dessert. We had a group of 9 and everyone enjoyed what they had ordered. The mousse de foi gras app.... More

This small, family run restaurant in the southern Loire area is a 'find' if you are staying in the area, particularly if you are there 'off-season' as it is open all year. This is a particular bonus now that the only other restaurant in the village (was also a hotel) has evidently shut its doors for the last time. There... More
