Have had a couple of lunches at the Dragon recently - only sandwiches but they were extremely well made, fresh and with tasty fillings. Nice atmosphere and good service.

Ordered Burger and Chips (Nearly £10) and received the most disgusting burger I have ever seen in my life. Uncooked and cold. Made me feel ill just looking at it. Took it back to the bar and the manager said they use pork as well in there burgers and it was OK. Disgusting, Disgusting Disgusting......... Take a look at the... More

Food was very good and staff excellent ~ very happy to accommodate individual tastes and dietary requirements. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble even when we were the only ones left in the restaurant. The canalside setting is idyllic and offers an interesting after lunch stroll. Highly recommended.

We've become regular visitors, we've recently moved into the village, and the pub have been extremely welcoming. After several visits for both drinks and meals, we simply cannot fault it. Food cooked to order means quality over speed, but is very much worth the wait. Nothing is too much trouble, such a welcome change from the churned out fast pace... More

We have dined here three times over the last fortnight and all our meals have been excellent. I particularly enjoyed the bavette steak - not had that before - but it was full of flavour and very tender. The staff were helpful and polite - without a fuss bringing more dressing for the salad etc The outside seating by the... More

Consistently good food with changing choice of menu (please can we have the seafood platter back?) The sweet potato chips are historic! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Currently, the best pub food in the area.

Having emigrated abroad from Willington 4 years ago it was a pleasant surprise to return to find the Dragon had been updated and modernised. I visited with our old neighbours and had a lovely dining experience. The resteraunt was busy but staff were attentive and knowledgeable and the food was excellent. We hope to visit again soon before we leave... More

We visited The Dragon on a very hot sultry night and when we asked if we could move tables to somewhere cooler our waitress could not have been more helpful. All the staff who looked after us were pleasant, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The menu was great, not so big it's like tackling a novel, but fabulous... More
