A small and cosy bistro in the heart of the old town. Our speciality is Pepper Steak made on a marinated Filet Mignon served with a mild creamy pepper sauce, oven vegetables and potato au gratin. We also serve a delicious paella, pasta dishes, local pork and chicken fillet. All the food is created in-house. We do not use any powder sauces or frozen vegetables. All is our own and cooked with our passion for good food.

Good food, good prices

Right on the square, reasonably priced food and wine and lovely serving staff. We booked a table on our walk through as it was market day which was worth doing as the whole place gets very busy.

Super position, watching the world go by in the middle of Alcudia Old Town, and excellent lunch Tapas platters. Great service as well. A set dish, but excellent selection, and lots of bread provided too.

Me and my wife stopped her on a Sunday market day and got the Tapas Lunch for 2. Wow it was amazing, so much so we went back on the following tuesday and had the same again. Staff were extremely friendly and polite and even went out of their way to ensure we had a table when it was extremely... More

I had chicken paella and it was lovely, could have shared it between 2 of us! My husband had the tapas which he enjoyed too. One of the few aces that doesn't make you both have tapas or paella, nice we could have them for one, staff were friendly too, thank you!

We went to the smaller restaurant as a couple, we shared the tapas plate as a starter, my husband had the farmhouse pork and I had the peppered steak we finished by each having the chocolate moose. The whole dining experience was perfect. The waiter and waitress were superb and the food faultless. Would definitely recommend.

I ate at the smaller of the two Bistro 1909's. There were 2 adults and 1 child and a toddler. The steak we ordered was served perfectly, they couldn't have cooked it better if they tried. And the wine which was recommended to me was perfect. All in all it's really good food served at a reasonable price. And the... More

We, a family of four adults, stopped here for coffee (only) on a quiet, warm and sunny afternoon. It was post-lunchtime, very much pre-dinner and, apart from one couple who were just finishing their meal, we were the only other customers at the restaurant. It seemed the perfect place to relax a while. However, we were made to feel like... More

Tip - There are two Bistro 1909 restauarants in the old town located just a few doors from each other. It maybe that on the day we visited they were changing prices but we were somewhat supprised to find that the same tapas plate was priced at €12.50 for 2 at one restaurant and at €13.50 for 2 at the...
