Nice decoration but very slow service. Waiters go back and forth inefficiently! Pizzas are good but salads are very poor! Last year it used to be much better!

Hello Marpleon, thank you, as always, for writing an opinion about our restaurant. About our time of service let me say once for all that we have a five pizzas capacity wood oven. If the restaurant is full with queue outside you have to wait at least half an hour for your freshly made pizza. This happens on saturdays and... More

Service was S-L-O-W at this venue, snail's pace for the 3 servers who were at times clueless but friendly. But the food is great, top notch seafood Pizza cooked well, Lasagne was 10/10 for authentic taste and texture. Value was good, recycled bottle lights were illuminating :) and the atmosphere really pleasant on a hot weekend evening facing the little... More

Hi Carol, thank you very much for your opinion about our restaurant/pizzeria. Im really sorry if you waited too long your meals but i would really remark that we make our best effort to serve FRESH, HOME MADE AND AT THE INSTANT PREPARED FOOD. The lasaña recipe that we serve is exactly the same of my mother use to serve... More

it's been plenty of times that we have had lunch or dinner in Rione Trastevere. This time we could taste that the classical menu (pizza, pasta, etc.) remains wonderful, and the new entries based in raw meats (carpaccio, tartar) and fancy hamburgers are delicious. Quite busy as usual especially at night, but it's worth waiting with a beer in the... More

There isn't much variety in terms of cuisine in San Jose. If you don't mind eating Spanish food for the whole of your stay then no need to worry. But we craved for something different after trying the very fresh seafood and delicious tapas after several days so we headed to Rione Trastevere to sample their famous thin crust pizzas... More

Rione Trastevere is a fab casual restaurant just across the street from San Jose beach. The staff are really friendly & helpful, there is a menu in english to make things even easier. We ate here several times trying the pizza which is delicious, as everyone else has said a thin crust with quality toppings, the pork loin with truffle... More

We called in here for some lunch having just arrived in San Jose. For our family of four we ordered salad, focaccia and fries. The food was fresh, tasted great and came with a smile. We returned a couple of days later for pizzas and loved them. Pizzas are thin, crispy and full of flavour. For desert the chocolate cake... More

I had an amazing pasta dish. Tortellini with cheese and nuts i think, flavorsome sauce with prawns, tomatoes and i'm guessing cream. Homemade pasta, and filling. Also I had a very well balanced choc. brownie type desert, rich with slightly crisp top and a very light creme anglais. This is some of the best food I''ve had in a restaurant... More
