We have just returned from a lovely evening at the Farmers Boy. We were welcomed by friendly staff. You do have to wait a while for food but its all fresh and tasty! I am vegetarian and would have liked to see a few more veggie options, especially in the starters and pies. Overall a nice experience and we will... More

welcomed by a very happy bubbly member of staff which was nice. You could see the food was all homemade, fresh & good quality BUT the service was diabolical!!! Wrong drinks & puddings served. No cheese on chips ir burger (even tho we preordered our mains). All main food came out but took ages to get sides & sauces. Lettuce... More

Hi Amber, as you are aware i have tried to contact you on 6 separate occasions in 6 days, speaking to your partner on 3 occasions. This is a broken window i wanted to try and fix but i can only ring you so many times. I understand we are all busy people. I did look into you comments. There... More

Visited the FBI today, hubby and I saw it on four in a bed last week (an old series might I add) and the owner Phil came over as such a character and his pies sounded delicious I mentioned to hubby I would love to go as we are in Hereford. Today I was taken as a surprise to celebrate... More

the pies are a speciality and are to rave about. The meat is so tender it just melts in your mouth. the ale flavour in the steak and ale pie is just right, not too strong. My husband had the game pie and he raved about it all night long. Truly a good place to eat-

Lovely pub. Very friendly and yet professional. Had an excellent starter followed by the best pie I've ever had in a pub / restaurant. Beer was great too. If you don't like pies there are many other imaginative dishes to choose from. Well done Famers Boy - you made my day.

Staff are friendly and the decor is quaint (if a little dusty and hotchpotch), but we came for the pies as this place is famous for its 'amazing' pies apparently. The menus are quite confusing and cluttered and could do with some reorganising. We both ordered a pie, I ordered chips and my partner ordered mash and veg. The small... More

Writing this in September for a visit in June so 3 months late for personal reasons however the comments are still valid. On entering at about 2.30 the place was deserted, I asked the young lady behind the bar what was the strength of the beers on tap as I was driving - she didn't know. Could she find out?... More
