Welcome to The Award Winning Farmer's Boy Inn Longhope

Simply put, we love food. Not just for what it is, but for the experience that accompanies it. Homely surroundings, great company and conversation, attentive waiters, who become friends and of course fine wines from around the world. After an evening of gastro food delights, gourmet pies and laughter in front of the open fire retire to our courtyard of boutique individually designed rooms and drift off, to wake up to the sounds, sights and smells of the idyllic Gloucestershire countryside. Followed of course by a hearty breakfast and maybe a stroll up the majestic May Hill

Good all round place to eat.

Very varied menu which caters for different eating styles and appetites. We had the Sunday lunch which was spot on. We will look forward to going back again for maybe a lighter lunch or supper dish.

Just the nicest food in this place! Had the WOW Burger (looks like a new menu?). Food is just divine. Freshly cooked, hot & tasty. Great value for money. Yum!! Do try it.

Visited here on a whim while passing by and have since made trips just to come to this lovely pub! Nice cosy atmosphere, great menu selection and the portions are huge! They serve classic pub grub but also slightly fancier options if you so wish and the food is absolutely divine, I highly recommend their pies!! Very good for both... More

We ate at the Pub and Restaurant while staying in the Inn and loved every meal served by the very friendly staff. While there I did try the famous pies and now I know why the are famous, best I have ever had! But, it's not just the pies they do well, all our food was great, special mention to... More

I had lunch and dinner. Both were great. The Boar pie at noon was fabulous. For dimmer I had Risotto. Its quality rivals with the very best Italian restaurants. Trdemendous place!

Was taken here by friends who live locally and we loved it. The pies were delicious and the portions were very generous! We had our 2 year old and 2 month old who were both given attention and the toddler was given a present from under the tree to keep him occupied. Owner and staff were extremely friendly and attentive.... More

I was disappointed at the quality of the food being served considering the prices were quite steep for what it was. In the end we would have been better off eating in the city before arriving at the Inn. It wasn't really bad food, but it wasn't great either. It was average pub food for elevated prices.
