Welcome to The Award Winning Farmer's Boy Inn Longhope Simply put, we love food. Not just for what it is, but for the experience that accompanies it. Homely surroundings, great company and conversation, attentive waiters, who become friends and of course fine wines from around the world. After an evening of gastro food delights, gourmet pies and laughter in front of the open fire retire to our courtyard of boutique individually designed rooms and drift off, to wake up to the sounds, sights and smells of the idyllic Gloucestershire countryside. Followed of course by a hearty breakfast and maybe a stroll up the majestic May Hill

The Best Pie

This is the first time I've truly enjoyed eating an English pie. My friends and I stopped there by accident on our way home and were truly impressed by the food and the people that work there. Been here a few time's now on our own and with friends and family. Always enjoy the food. A few orders got a little messed up but were soon rectified. Lovely friendly staff. Warm and welcoming.

We had the most amazing lunch here whilst passing, the pie was delicious. The pie was full of filling and not just bulking ingredients, it was full of meat!! The whole meal was absolutely faultless, with side bowls of veg and chips for us to dip into and we ordered a side of onion rings to, which we really didn't... More

The title says it all the pies are exceptional, well worth a visit (if you like sweet and or savory pies)

Visited for lunch with family...the portions were not great considering the cost, and was dissapointed that the vegetables appeared to have been heated in a microwave. Probably wouldn't visit again.....

We were staying at a farm near by & this pub was recommended to us to go & eat, we certainly weren't disappointed. My husband had steak & kidney pie , they specialise in pies & offer a choice of filling, size & top, he chose the smaller size & that was plenty big enough, I had chicken which was... More

Really lovely surroundings, very nicely decorated and attentive staff. Vast menu with award winning pies but other dishes had equally as much attention to detail and high quality. You get what you pay for and it is worth every penny. Would definitely visit again if we are in the area. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Great food - the pies really are that good, great beer and a good children menu with big portions instead of the usual - my daughter particularly enjoyed her steak pie!
