Nice al fresco dining

Dined here on a nice night at an outdoor table under the tree canopy on the recommendation of Denise Pardini at Hotel Castello di Sinio, where we stayed down the hill. The service was very friendly (if a little confused), the food was very good and straightforward, and the views are really nice... read more

Traveling during August means that many restaurants in Italy are closed. We found ourselves at Ca del Lupo on the recommendation of our hotel, and because it was not too far of a drive. The outdoor eating area was nice, with the tables not too close together. The menu was not huge, but did satisfy all of our preferences. It... More

Interesting night. With no Garmin on hand navigation there was less easy than otherwise. Then busy when we arrived, thinking, this may drag on. But! A simple menu, done well. And great service, snappy, personal and informative. Starters we tried were grilled melanzane and pate, both fine. Wood ovened rabbit main was delicious, and fettucine alla pesca (fish) also tastey.... More

The location and the price were great but the food was average. The service was very good. Not a place I would go back to.

1) food was all excellent, served in perfect portions, and an incredible value to something that was so high quality. 2) the wine list was like no other - all wines from within the piedmonte region, and all priced INCREDIBLY fairly - as in they cost less here at the restaurant than what I'd pay for them WHOLESALE in the... easy to get to from our hotel Ca del Lupo was recommended by Denise at Castello Di Sinio. Great location overlooking the vineyards with large windows in an elegant dining location. Food was fresh, local and delicious. Gnocchi was outstanding. Worth a visit.

Nice white truffle pasta. Wine selection was very good. The glass house and poolside window was relaxing.

We went to Ca del Lupo on one of the evenings when Castello di Sinio's restaurant was closed. Both the food and the service were wonderful.

Not an impressive menu with only three main courses. However, when we asked for something not on the menu, the chef was able to deliver. Nor gourmet style, but plain food with a good selection of wine to choose from. Nice and helpful staff who spoke English very well!

We were directed here by Denise of Hotel Castello di Sinio for one of the nights when her restaurant was not open. After a stunning drive up to the Langhe ridge, we found the restaurant quite easily at dusk and parked in their large car park. We were given one of the two tables with the best view over the...
