I visit this place every time i stay at Mai Kho beach. The place is a local sea food restaurant, no fancy decoration. I'm not sure if they have english menu but the food is really good & fresh. The tables are on the beach so you can enjoy sea breeze during meal. However, this place is out of town,... More

This restuarant should have a much higher rater. Food was fantastic, ridiculously cheap and staff very friendly. Highly recommend the egg salad - wow!

Great for lunch. The tamarind fish was delicious. Seafood fried rice was full of fresh seafood. Lots of locals.

We visited twice with one of the days on a Sunday and it was very busy with local Thais. The seafood is excellent. Fully recommend the fried fish, fish with limes, cockles, fried crispy squid, prawns with garlic, in fact most of the menu! Both times we sat on the stone tables with uninterrupted view of the sea. What a... More

This is a hidden gem in Phuket. Jakkajan Seafood is made up of a handful of open-air bamboo beach huts, right along beach of the Andaman sea. It’s great little place to grab fresh seafood, just don’t go there expecting something fancy and you will not be disappointed. Yes you eat outside on pick-nick tables that’s part of the fun... More

We went here in January 2010. Had our directions for this restaurant and ready to try the sea cicadas. We were the only people there and were able to watch as they prepared the sea cicadas for our lunch. Salt and pepper style and with chilli. Delicious...... Also had a whole fish which was done beautifully, rice and of course... More

Walked up the beach from JWMarriot resort, about 2 Kms, to get the appetite going. Nice sunset but mosquito's also love that time of day! There are several beachside places here we realised after the event. In any case the first one on the South side was ours. Nearly left because of insects but managed to ask some friendly Germans...
