We ate lunch here one day in June 2014. The hotel is in a beautiful setting with the added interest of the sculptures in the garden and in the wider forested area. You need to book the restaurant because it is not large. We booked on-line and it went very smoothly. The fixed menu had a good selection and included... More

We always prioritise a visit to Broomhill for lunch when we are in North Devon and have never been disappointed. Food, surroundings, service and value for money are all unsurpassed. The lunchtime menu comrpises three courses of locally source dishes all prepared according to 'slow food' principles. The dishes are imaginative, beautifully presented and invariably delicious. A walk around the... More

Very good meal out, with plenty of choice, especially for vegetarian options. At £15.95 for three courses it is also very good value.

Large family Sunday lunch, great choice for vegetarians, something for everybody, although agree with the comment from rapidsjonson re children's choice. However, my son loved the duck main! Fast, attentive, friendly service & lovely food & atmosphere as usual. Excellent value for money, but don't expect traditional roast!

This is my second review of Broomhill; and my praise is unstinting for the level of service, the food and the surroundings - it is still a 'one off' place to visit with its sculpture gardens. The pieces themselves are not to everyone's style but the positioning of them in this beautiful north Devon valley brings more a smile than... More

Called in for lunch on a Sunday. Have been here several times before, its been a while and the menu is a bit different. Staff and food still excellent. The menu could do with a few items which would appeal more to children and people with a bit less of an adventurous palate. Garden improving with time.
