While staying in Phuket Old Town we had read the reviews and thought we would give Suay Restaurant a try. The setting is quaint. A little white house with nice gardens, porch and a casual yet slightly elegant ambience. We were walking there from our Hotel and thought that we must have missed it as we were in a neighbourhood,... More

We stayed in Panwa and just wanted to dine out one night without clear indication where to go. We walked around and asked some people. One local suggested us Suay. It's more expensive than local canteen or market stool but the foods were prepared well and we enjoyed this dusk on Thai. We would recommend to try "Sharing is Caring"... More

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a guide book for Phuket. The chef had great reviews and there was a vegetarian in our party who wanted to try some of the meat free dishes! This place is not in the really touristy part of Phuket and our cab from pattaya took just under an hour with the... More

Having read the reviews we decided to head out to Phuket town to this restaurant. Situated in an old house, nestled within a lush garden the first thing you notice is the tranquillity. The front of house lady was stylish and attentive. The food was traditional thai with a unique twist and northern Thai cuisine as well. The cocktails and... More

Some of the best food i have eaten. Great fresh flavours, and a fabulous mix of East meets West. We couldn't decide what to get so got the set menu for 2 people. 3 starters, and 3 mains, all beautiful. The tuna tartar and the chicken 'spring rolls' were divine. We also had 2 cocktails, one wine and one beer... More

Great Fusion food. More laid back atmosphere and not a lot of seating. Most of the seating is outside and in the garden. Excellent food and well worth the visit. German / Thai chef that has researched a lot about Thai food and has a modern twist for a lot of traditional dishes.

Suay means "beautiful" in Thai language, and this place is really beautiful. Phuket Town is a must-see for people visiting Phuket for the first time, and I would suggest that you stop and eat at Suay. It serves traditional, authentic Thai food with a modern twist. The flavors are great, the service is perfect, and it's very reasonably priced. The... More
