Worth a detour

This is a lovely place to visit, serving delicious Thai food, with a touch of German crossover. The chef Khun Noi, worked in Germany for sometime and picked up only the best ideas from this country's kitchen, now producing light savory dishes, just the best you can think of. His art of cooking is... read more

I'd love to say just go eat! Their portions are generous by high dining standards and their pricing is most definitely generous. One plate of their beautifully cooked duck breast, was enough for two, the Taco with a choice of crispy base or roti and a choice of three meats + vegetarian option wow. The lamb Taco on Roti was... The menu at Suay is different than most Thai restaurants, in a very good way. I had the duck and it was a nice change from the "same same" we'd been enjoying throughout our trip. Highly recommended.

Just off the main road in Phuket Town and a great place to visit. If we had not looked on TA we would not have known about the place and easily walked past the signage. Great place to eat as a couple, very attentive staff, and well air conditioned! Food was amazing. See you again soon.

Went for dinner last night, could have been anywhere in the world! The food was amazing, we had the set menu for 4 people - everything mouth watering! The cocktails were to die for - espresso martini - wow! The ambience, the setting, service! You won't be disappointed!

Went there a bit late after visiting the weekend nigh market and 1) the food was excellent 2) the cocktails were so well made that we actually left a tip for the bartender 3) the staff was very nice and although it was late they let us stay to finish our drinks and have our romantic time (it was me... Suay is a lovely little place to dine at and worth going into town for. The staff are friendly and even though glasses were allowed to run dry on occasion we were looked after very well. The restaurant was filled with both locals and foreigners alike and as far as I could tell, everyone was enjoying the restaurant just as... More

Came here from a recommendation from Foursquare. A recommendation that I would endorse! Amazing Thai fusion cuisine. Try everything if you can.

we were there on our only night in Phuket, in transition from khao lak towards phi phi. from starters to deserts, everything has been great. just one thing. make sure you know what you're talking about when you say you want the dish to be spicy. :) the only downside i can think of is that we got there walking...
