Went most evenings to listen to the fabulous duo John and Annie, who come from the Philippines and play every type of music. Some nights there were lots of Aussies in the crowd and since they take requests there was a bit of Cold Chissel. When the Russians were there they played well known Russian songs and the rest of... My first visit i selected the spanner crab with chilli paste and to be honest i thought it was overcooked and a bit rubbery. My wife chose the prawns and was happy with the meal. Second visit and this time i went for the salmon and my wife chose a duck dish. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and the... More

do not waste your time or money here..way below for quality, service ..basically crap value. Spent $40 Au. and very dissatisfied with everything. Balmain bugs are nicer and served much better quality and service in Sydney and also cheaper!

Although a tad expensive, and as pointed out the prices are plus 7.5%VAT, the food was cooked well, served politely and the tiger prawns in garlic and pepper sauce were very tasty indeed. There is live music and if you get seated too close, don't worry, if there's a another table further away the waiter will accommodate you. Well worth... More

Went with a group of eight adults. Placed at a table with live music where talking was impossible - too loud. Wife ordered crumbed prawns. Came out with the head, legs and shell crumbed. Told the waiter it's not what we expected only for him to get out the menu and point to the picture of the prawns (which definitely... More

Being a lover of seafood, my husband was enticed by the display of seafood out the front. He chose a couple of tiger prawns and was sadly disappointed considering the price! The seafood was overcooked and tough and by the time his meal arrived the selection of salad from the salad bar was very limited and not replenished. My son... More

Went with a group of 9 and the food was beautiful, it was good to have a band playing for something different. We all had different food from seafood to traditional Thai to European and everyone loved what they had. Only down sound was waitress often ran off before we could finish ordering more drinks for the other half of... More

Had two dinners at a row at this great restaurant. Had their Tom Yum both days. One of the best tom yum s I ever . They have mild medium and hot flavors. And my my hot was incredibly hot. Medium gives the best flavors. The tiramisu dessert was also great. And the band ..the guy and the girl singers... More

We visit Tantawan every time we are in Patong and always come back. There is a good selection of food, from Seafood, to Thai to Western and we are always happy with our meals. But the best part is the 2 entertainers who are there every night except Wednesday when Elvis comes in! We have not had that pleasure, but... More
