Best Thai we had in Thailand.

On our 4th day in Thailand I was starting to loose hope for a meal that resembled nice Thai food. Again I attribute this to being spoilt Australians (our Thai at home in some Sydney restaurants is hard to beat) but came to Yings after reading reviews here. Amazing, fresh and delicious. Dropped on here while visiting the temple markets. Menu was extensive, with plenty of choices from everywhere . I made the mistake of ordering a pizza , wasn't great but the local food everyone else had was great, prices were very good. recommend this place.

After following the advice of many other trip advisors, my bf and I dropped by Ying on our very first day in Karon for lunch. The food was absolutely amazing and that is why it became our favorite spot, ending up going there every night. I would recommend their whole fried fish with sweet and sour sauce (YUMMMMYYY), but don't... More

We would recommend this place; we had eaten here before on prior visits and remembered it as great. For two whole fish, fresh on ice and chosen by ourselves to be BBQ'd, plus two serves of fries (just felt like it!!!), x 2 watermelon juices, and free fresh fruit and salad - $AUD30.79. We loved every mouthful, worth every cent.... More

We visited this place twice and it was great. Extensive menu at very reasonable prices. Simple decor and relaxed atmosphere, the staff were efficient. Very fresh ingredients and tasty food! Im not a huge fan of really spicy food and the staff were able to modify dished on the menu for my needs. Recommended as a cheap and casual Thai... More

This restaurant was a recommendation from our tailor. It was hopping when we got there, we got the last table. Many other restaurants were empty, but not this joint so we took that as a good sign. Wait staff were very busy but we were very well taken care of. Food was very very tasty, and reasonably priced. It was... More

People tend to gravitate towards their more crowded neighbours but Ying serves amazing Thai food. Their coconut shake is to die for! I had 3 in a row! Food were lip smacking delicious and always well presented. Tomyum goong, Somtam, Thai basil shrimps, Seafood fried rice, Thai style mussels(huge portions) Western dishes like sandwiches and burgers are available for the... More

We ate dinner at Ying three times while staying at Karon beach. The Thai food is very tasty. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable, especially for Phuket. A large bottle of ice cold Beer Chang for 80 Baht is an added bonus. Keith & Sunay
