What a great place. Walk down from the local hotel after driving past and the outside catching our eye. The food, ambiance and service is some of the best I have had. Extremely Reasonable, superb quality and great atmosphere. If I'm ever back this way again will definitely book again. Don't miss it!

A slight problem...one of our number is disabled... More

I can honestly say that it is my favourite pub and restaurant and that I have never experienced anything other than top class service an cuisine. James and Kirsty work very hard to achieve this consistency and deserve the success they are enjoying. I... More

We were most pleasantly surprised when we ate here last night. We were staying at the Chase over the road from here for a couple of nights and didn't want to eat in the same restaurant for the second night so walked over to the Chequers. Now I am not a great fish fan so I was a bit apprehensive... More
