Valentine's lunch was just beautiful. A real treat of Rib of beef to share, roasted vegetables and creamy potatoes. James couldn't be more friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. Thank you. We will definitely be returning. A lovely experience

The pub itself is beautiful, the interior is gorgeous, the food is fantastic made even better by the fact it isn't horrendously priced! Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, banter was great too! Was recommended to us by our parents, and we will definitely recommend to our friends! It was a quiet Tuesday night so I'm sure with a few... More

Both of which are pleasant to eat in. We opted for the restaurant. The waitress who served us was attentive and again efficient. The menu is small... More

We rang very last minute to ask for a table at lunch, and they were very accommodating. There is a very nice decor throughout with a choice of bar area, with a fire, or restaurant. We sat in the restaurant, which was very pleasant , though chilly..it was a cold January day! The staff are very pleasant and attentive, the... More

Never fails to exceed expectations. Good atmosphere, exceptional service and great food. No idea what the problem was with the review on Dec 1st - I think the menu caters for all requirements and certainly fresh and healthy would be part of that!

This was the perfect place for our pre-Christmas family lunch, a manageable day trip for 9 family members living both in the north west and the south east. The food was really delicious for everyone, including rare interesting choices for one vegetarian, one pescatarian and one vegan. The bill was reasonable for such high quality fare. The ambience is superb... More
