Pukka Tucker? Afraid Not...

Decided to pop to Bluewater with friends and enjoy an Easter meal that we haven't had to cook. We chose Jamie's as we have never been there before and expected it to be of high quality. We pre-booked a table for 8pm on Easter Saturday. There were various tables free yet the table we were allocated... read more

No Atmosphere poorly layed out restaurant. Ordered a bread basket for starters. Received mouldy bread. Not good enough. Other food lacked any taste. Menu disappointing.

My review title is probably a bit more worrying than it sounds. They were out of lobster and Italian steak and we found this out 10 mins after we ordered. With this in mind we were given the option to upgrade our food for the same price for something else on the menu steak related. Food was nicely made and... More

Visited this evening with partner and our daughter. Service was painfully slow and although our waitress was clearly trying her best to keep on top ôf everything she was struggling. The food was sadly not nearly as good as when we last visited a year ago. My prawn linguine was watery and pasta overlooked and my partner's "funky" chips really... More

The food comes up on a bread board (look alike). Its reasonably priced. Does have a nice range of choices of food. The chips are very tasty here.

We were hugely disappointed with both the service and the quality of our meal today. Having eaten at Jamie's in Oxford we booked at Bluewater as our parents wanted to treat us to an Easter Monday meal. We waited over an hour for our meal to arrive and when it did the food was poor, the broccoli stone cold, the... More

Am I alone in thinking that standards are slipping a little across Jamie's empire? We've been to quite a few of these and that's definitely our impression. While the venues are lovely and service friendly, the food seems somewhat less impressive these days and, given the relatively high prices, rather poor value for money. Perhaps Jamie needs to be more... More

I had high expectations of this place having gone to the restaurant in Cardiff and had great food and drinks. However, our experience in the restaurant in Bluewater Kent was very average. My husband and I had lunch with my 2 young boys aged 9 and 11. We started with the Bruschetta and shared two between the four of us,... More

A big group of us had dinner there recently. It was very crowded at 6.30 but we were still served quite quickly. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We couldn't always hear what she said, though, as it was very noisy! We mostly had the non-alcoholic cocktails and my ginger Mojito was excellent. Everyone loved their starters, including wonderful... More

There has been great hype in the town and the local press regarding the opening of the latest venture in Tunbridge Wells on Monday 23rd March. On checking the opening times it clearly states, open for coffee and pastries from 10.00am to 12 noon. On Friday 27th March we thought we would give it a try, only to be told... More
