Sirloin Steak and Chips

Me and my Wife went here for dinner both of us ordered 10oz Sirloin and Chips and to be honest it was very nice other than they need to give you Steak knifes as it is rather difficult to cut the Steak, but other than that it was a lovely meal and the place was quite quaint and very clean,... read more

Was booked in this dump with work, really dated rooms with uncomfortable for beds, aweful selection for breakfast. Just glad I wasn't footing the bill...

Ok for just a quick lunch, not the cleanest or comfortable place for a relaxed lunch, food is ok but nothing to write home about, visited a couple of times when no other options available.

We called in for lunch on our way to Dogs Trust at Snetterton. W e hadn't been here for many years and although the decor was a little tired the meal we had was very good, The meal was a little while coming but this is usually a good sign that it's not just shoved in a microwave. My wife... More

I have no problem staying at "no thrills", grotty hotels when necessary. Y'know, hotels like this one with its stained, old carpet; lumpy, springy mattress; freezing cold room with no temperature control; mouldy and limescaled bathroom with its dirty toilet and a half-used bottle of old hand wash for its toiletry offerings; out-of-date cream portions for use with tea and... Not a bad place to eat. The bar staff are very nice. Good place to stop if you are passing through..

Stayed overnight to visit relatives in Attleborough. This is a lovely 15th century building. The pub is quite small but seems popular with locals. Prices very good both in bar and restaurant. Evening meal very nice as was breakfast. Locally sourced food and nicely cooked and very nice staff. We had one very nice and friendly lady serving evening meal... More

We went for an evening meal, the food was ok as were the prices, it is a bit of a strange mix of restaurant area open to the bar with TV. Staff were friendly. If you want a nice country town pub with food then this is not really it but is probably the best you are going to get... More

The Griffin has some good old charm and equally old decor to match. Its history and character make it worth a visit. Reasonable price and the food is ok. It will struggle with many other options available in Attleborough.
