Stayed overnight to visit relatives in Attleborough. This is a lovely 15th century building. The pub is quite small but seems popular with locals. Prices very good both in bar and restaurant. Evening meal very nice as was breakfast. Locally sourced food and nicely cooked and very nice staff. We had one very nice and friendly lady serving evening meal... More

We went for an evening meal, the food was ok as were the prices, it is a bit of a strange mix of restaurant area open to the bar with TV. Staff were friendly. If you want a nice country town pub with food then this is not really it but is probably the best you are going to get... More

The Griffin has some good old charm and equally old decor to match. Its history and character make it worth a visit. Reasonable price and the food is ok. It will struggle with many other options available in Attleborough.

Four of us went for lunch on Mother's Day & even allowing for the occasion there was a pleasant calm atmosphere. We all chose the regular Sunday roast & what a great choice it is. Beautifully cooked & with all the veg etc you would expect. A good portion is provided too. Puddings are also good with a nice choice... More

Have just stayed here for one night for a family birthday party in Attleborough. This 500 year old coaching Inn has great character but with a bit of love and TLC could have so much more. The bedrooms need a complete refurbishment, they are dated, scruffy, and dusty. We had a double room and the four poster room. The bed... More

Went here for a meal prior to our sons carol service which was being held next door, the food was expensive for the surroundings, the bar and restaurant need updating as other people have mentioned, you can get a better meal else where for the same cost in more upload the upmarket surroundings.

I can thoroughly recommend this place for food - delicious. If you have any room left, there is pudding!

Last Friday myself and my wife went into the Griffin at approx 19:00 and asked the Barmaid if it was possible to have a table for 2. There were only five people in the restaurant to were already eating they main and the other had just ordered. The barmaid asked the owners wife said NO and in that manner and... More

The food in this olde worlde pub was not too bad although the service and atmosphere was not exactly ideal. The pub overall stinks with the 25 year old carpet giving off the most awful smell of dogs and god knows what else. The 99.9% of customers are men for who when a women walks in thinks it's time to behave...
