Perfect Thai cuisine for a very good price

Cafe Opera Live is really a good place to have dinner. Food is excellent, live music very good and prices very reasonable (less than 2000 Baht for 4 with spring rolls, chicken satay, curries, burger...).

This was our favourite restaurant in 2013 and was very ordinary in 2014. It does not matter how cheap the drinks are if the food is no good. Would not go back again.

It took one year to stop by again - two week holiday in Karon/Kata Beach. It was nice to visit this place again. Staff was little bit changed. Mostly same people working. There was no live music every night. That was due some difficulties with visas. Food - how about my filet, baked potato, red vine and pepper sauces? Answer... More

Went here to check out the hype. Ordered drinks and buscetta. Great mojito and starter. Had pizza after that. One with beef and bernaise, and one with shrimp. Immediately ordered a cup of aioli after we discovered that the pizzas where quite tasteless. Especially the beef one. Amazed at how little taste the bernaise had! Salt and pepper helped a... More

Very disappointed. It was busy but the food was medium to poor - at best. Four of us went, 3 of us found it extremely salty. Would not recommend it, would not go back.

Great variety of food and of really high quality. The lobster soup is amazing! Their Wi-Fi works brilliantly too.

Spent a very pleasant evening at this restaurant. Good service, great variety of Western and Thai dishes at reasonable prices for Kata standards. My partner had the bruschetta, which was lovely.I had the Thai green curry, which the restaurant was happy to veganise for me; it was delicious. The live music was exceptionally good, providing the perfect atmosphere for the... More

This has yet to be the worst place i've eaten during my stay in thailand. When we came to the resturant we were met by an confused and undermand staff. When we finally had our food the steak was grilled to much and was hard to eat. BUT... that above is not the reason i'm writing this review on trip... More
