Great variety of food and of really high quality. The lobster soup is amazing! Their Wi-Fi works brilliantly too.

Spent a very pleasant evening at this restaurant. Good service, great variety of Western and Thai dishes at reasonable prices for Kata standards. My partner had the bruschetta, which was lovely.I had the Thai green curry, which the restaurant was happy to veganise for me; it was delicious. The live music was exceptionally good, providing the perfect atmosphere for the... More

This has yet to be the worst place i've eaten during my stay in thailand. When we came to the resturant we were met by an confused and undermand staff. When we finally had our food the steak was grilled to much and was hard to eat. BUT... that above is not the reason i'm writing this review on trip... More

In defence of this restaurant we ordered western food so the thai might be amazing but the pizza and pasta we had enough garlic to kill a large horse. I did however love the mojitos and the live acoustic music. My suggestion is to go for drinks or go and have the Thai food.

The atmosphere is amazing, with the soft lighting and live music. The musician was really good and played really appropriate dinner music, not too loud, perfectly romantic. The food was the best my fiance and I have had in Asia. The service was really quick and the staff were extremely friendly and polite.

Food - the pizza, steak, pasta for kids all had so much salt that my husband gave up eating the pizza and the kids drank a tank of water each. I asked for medium cooked steak. One piece was medium rare and the other piece completely done. Drinks - they probably ran out of tomato juice when they made my... More

We enjoyed our dinner at Café Opera so much with friends that we went back again a couple of times. This is such a lovely place with a great atmosphere and live music playing in the back ground. The décor is quite quirky with old treadle sewing machines as tables, carvings and very comfortable chairs. The meal sizes are huge,... More

We had dinner here yesterday and I can say it was the nicest dinner we had since we are in phuket. Lovely place in a small street with almost no cars, so we could let our children playing in the street. Food and drinks came fast and they were really good especially the fruit shakes which were wonderful. Staff was... More

There's a top-range of restaurants in Kata like Kata Rocks and Boathouse. If you go for the much more mainstream places Cafe Opera is probably one of the best choices, and it stands out in the "restaurant soi" where it is located. Good Thai Food (adjusted) and very good western dishes (burgers, pizza). Also nice staff and ambience, with a... More

I'll keep this review simple. The food here is fresh and tasty and the staff are attentive and very fast. We had the Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Tom Yum seafood and they were both great. We also had a couple of cocktails, which were also good. The prices are fairly standard for restaurants in the area, but the... More
