After a week in kata we found the food here bland and westernized,we had much better elsewhere and a lot cheaper, they did have nice clean toilets though

This place ticks all the boxes. It has a professional vibe- staff are great, friendly and efficient. The venue is neat and comfortable. The food great and well priced. The music? Fabulous! Gorgeous guy plays requests and puts his own spin on it. We had a really nice night there.

I cannot say anything but fabulous! If you are wanting to sit, listen to great live music and have a few drinks this place is a must. The menu was quite good but the atmosphere was on fire!

I stayed in Kata beach for 10 nights and out of all the restaurants and cafes there, we ate at Cafe Opera 8 times! There is a huge variety of food and everything we tried was delicious! Amazing live music, cheap prices and friendly staff who remember your faces! Definitely 11/10 in my books!

We were invited to come along here by some people we had met in Thailand mainly for the entertainment which I must say was amazing, but as far as cleaninless it was terrible. There was a rat running around underneath the tables and large cockroaches crawling on the table and at one stage crawled onto my friends dress and we... More

Went there with wife and 3 kids. Pleasant vibe with good live music. Very welcoming staff and good service. Prices are reasonable. Food was good but I'd not put it higher than that. Wine list good. A good safe option for a family in Kata Beach.

Cafe Opera is gorgeous, they have great live western music and a really nice atmosphere. The smoked salmon was delicious and just the break from Thai food I needed. Other members of my family loved their Thai dishes, so its win win. They serve mojitos with a massive cinnamon quill and they are delicious! Definitely order one.

We went here on a recommendation from a hotel guest and so glad we did! This place is fantastic. Awesome Thai food (and western food if you don't want Thai), friendly staff and great atmosphere. Niño's live music was the highlight of our night. We were a group of 12 and the 6 kids loved him! We returned 2 more... More

We went here thinking we would have some western food but ended up having Thai and it was delicious. Best chicken satays we have had and chicken massaman curry was yum. Lovely service, ambience and a really enjoyable night. Would definitely go back here.

We went to cafe opera based on TripAdvisor recommendations, and the experience was as slightly lacking. The music was fine, mostly covers of recent songs which was enjoyable if not just a little loud to enjoy conversation, but the food was distinctly average. By no means a disappointment, but not one I'd be desperate to revisit.
