Good atmosphere, very laid back, has the best vantage point on all of Kata Yai looking down the beach. Serves good food and has cold beeer.

A good location on the end of Kata Beach, but not over impressed with the service or the average food. Convenient during the day but despite all the posters about the music we didn't hear any on three separate visits. OK for a drink.

We stayed in kata Beach resort and Spa hotel which was fairly close to the ska bar. Turn left when you get on the beach and its the last bar. Friendly bar staff, cheap quality beer and amazing views of the beach. They play reggae music all night which we loved. Nice to sit on the edge of the bar overlooking the cove far away enough from the music to have a chat.

Servers are friendly w/o being overbearing and they don't mind if you sit there drinking for hours on end while reading a book. Ska Bar is the place we usually end up before bed. Reggie Music funky decoration with fantastic sea view, and you will never get weak cocktails! Perfect place to catch up and get blasted with friends without messing up around in downtown ;)

This bar on Kata beach provides you with the cocktails and food that you might need at any point during the day but it is especially nice in the evening. Enjoying a drink, listening to some relaxing music and the sea.. Now that is a vacation!

Very nice place right on the beach. Plays a lot of reggae music which adds to the amazing relaxing atmosphere. We came here every night for evening drinks and the fire show which is on every Friday night is amazing not to be missed.
