Had tried their Pizza years ago, and thought it was okay, so returned. Once again, whilst ordering wine they didn't have what you asked for and served more expensive one, to me if you don't have what clients ask (still on menu) then you sell the more expensive at the same price (as is the common habit in restaurant world),... We came here by accident, so no upfront info from TA. We started with bruschetta and that dish was excellent. We saw the stone oven which always promises really good pizza's. And they were actually very very good. Also the ravioli with truffle cream was perfect. So the food was great but the atmosphere was a bit dull. The place... More

We visited this lovely restaurant twice while visiting our friends in Phuket, and on both occasions had some excellent Italian food and outstanding service, particularly from Rudy and Fabio. The pizzas are superb as is the beef. We thought it was well priced too. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for an alternative to the (wonderful) local... More

Friends in town from the UK, so we made our now monthly pilgrimage to Kata Beach. Pizza (Margherita) for the four of us to start followed by spaghettini (or a thinner version of tagliatelli) with speck and pecorino cheese, Chicken "Aussie" or a pasta dish - Calamari with diavolo sauce. All outstanding. Add to that a bottle of super Trebbiano... More

This Resturant was recommend by the Kata Beach Resort Manager. What a great reco. The menu was extensive and contained a lot of our Italian favorites. The food was delivered in good time without being to fast. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful, clearly having been properly trained. The Resturant is a little hard to find as it is... More

A lovely restaurant with great food and friendly service. Cute location down a little side street. It was really quiet when we went, but we found that with almost every resturant we ate in. The capricciosa is my go-to pizza and Capannina's version didn't disappoint. The pizza bread and olive oil/balsamic was a nice touch (if a little dry), although... More
