I live on Phuket and this is the best Italian food I have eaten here so far. The menu offers the dishes you would expect and after 3 visits we have yet to be disappointed. The thin-crust pizza is among the best I have eaten anywhere - including New York. The atmosphere is a little spartan but I prefer that... More

After a few days of delicious thai food we felt like some pizza and pasta. Heard about this on TA and set about finding it. Definitely worth a try- pizzas were excellent (thin base) and the pasta was delicious. Good lunchtime specials advertised too.

We came here to get away from the same old thai food and were not disappointed the food we had here was awesome. A little hard to find not far back from the Horn Grill down a alley but worth finding and staff very friendly.

Capannina is a little hard to find, its tucked down the end of an alley. This means no street noise, loud tourists or hawkers bothering you during your meal. The food was fantastic - I could see one of the chefs making my ravioli from scratch in the kitchen. Beautiful fresh ingredients and just a very high quality meal. Beware... More

Had a tasty Italian meal here, yummy pasta dishes and shared garlic bread to start! Good value too! Liked the setting, such a. Large menu had trouble deciding what to order! Nice change from Thai food!

Went there for dinner after reading the reviews and we promptly went back there for a second time the very next night. Spent about 750 baht for 2 pax.

Eaten there before and enjoyed the food served. Good Italian food rather than others that try to serve European food in that area. A friend told me that that had stopped going as the quality had dropped. I went to form my own opinion and found out that the restaurant had been taken over by Limoncello. The meal I had... More

It was our last night in Phuket and my wife and I wanted to try something different (after having indulged in pure Thai food for the past 3 days). Capaninna is owned and run by an Italian. Hence, you would expect that, being an authentic Italian resto, that it would give you a slice of pizza-pasta heaven. However, the food... More

In Kata (and Karon) there is a general trend among restaurants towards more noise and less quality. The Italian restaurant Capannina is a delightful exception. The extensive menu has something for every palate, including their own fresh pasta and excellent pizzas. The wine list is good and well priced and the service friendly and efficient. It is a large restaurant... More

Offered 200baht special- pasta with drink. The bill had an extra 80 baht for "service charges" despite there being only two of us making a total of 400baht. Pretty much took money off us for no reason- shocking service
