About us Limoncello is the name of a traditional Italian lemon-flavored liqueur. In 1988 Canale’s family registered the first trademark which did include word Limoncello in Capri. Currently the word Limoncello is spread all over the world. Limoncello co ltd as an italian restaurant and pizzeria was founded in 2007 at the behest of Roberto Ugolini and Gianmaria Zanotti, who decided to open the first Italian restaurant in Phuket. Subsequently, the company changed ownership and Zanotti decided to sell his shares to Ugolini, who remains the sole owner, therefore Ugolini company is expanding constantly its business in all over the Thailand. Currently they have in whole country, lots of restaurants. There are over 50 restaurants under the banner “Limoncello” in the whole world, and one of those in United States is owned by famous actor Danny de Vito. Limoncello in Thailand, however, is a registered trademark (TM) wholely owned by Ugolini group, as it is the Thai web domain “limoncello co th.”, therefore, the company Limoncello co ltd is the only legitimate company in Thailand who can use the name Limoncello Italian Restaurant.

We visited 3 times for lunch..their ragu bolognase is to die for.. My partner ordered the calzone from the wood fire and loved it. We had the loveliest lady serve us 2 of the 3 times and her English was fabulous.

I adore this restaurant and it serves some of the best Italian food and New Zealand Mussels. I keep coming back time and time again and they have never disappointed. Why come to Thailand and eat Italian well the food is so good we visited here 3 times during our week stay. A little pricey but well worth the money... More

Kata/Karon is more expensive than Patong. Full stop. Every review that says otherwise is nonsense. In the back alley behind a few overpriced dumps, Capannina stands apart with friendly service, great food, and low prices. 2 people can easily get out of here for less than 700 baht even with drinks. Very tasty salads and an actual caprese with a... More

In a town that has really, really cheap good food this was a little pricier. Having said that the service was great as always and it was nice to have a selection of wine in a place where you mainly have beer and cocktails. The food was fantastic and the pizza choices were wide and varied - some traditional, some... More

Excellent Italian cuisine. I was there with my family on our recent trip to Phuket. We really enjoyed our meal: Pizza, pasta, lasagna, wine. Excellent. Price was reasonable.

I was always amazed by the superior table service in Capannina in addition to the high quality food and drinks offered. The place is cosy and nice, Thai waiters and waitresses are attentive, polite and clever, and the Italian management is the sweetest of all!

We do know this place since many years and went there in every Phuket vacation, when we wanted to take a day off from Thai food. Two years the owner changed, but the food is mostly the same, and in a perfect quality. The Salads were impressive and excellent, the pizza is best on the island (Although other restaurants claim...
