Good lunch

We had planned a visit to this village to coincide with lunch time so we could visit this restaurant. It was a good little place with reasonable fixed lunch menu. Owners were attentive, recommend if in the area.

The welcome on a quiet night, hot & sunny was charming & also not over stuffy. The setting was perfect, the 5 of us sat outside under the hanging vines, a table cloth & cloth napkins were speaking of good things to come & come they did. The small menu shows to me that there is real care taken in... More

Lovely host and hostess, limited but exciting menu and a meal to remember. The suggested wine was a local, chateau feely and was delicious. It was a very warm evening (unusually very hot even for there) so we ate outside and enjoyed three luscious courses. Our only concern was we had two teenagers but having checked the menu decided to feed... More

Hubby and I visited this restaurant many years ago on our wedding anniversary. Such a delight. Small, French and great food!!! Really looking forward to going again!

We enjoyed three courses here tonight along wight a bottle of local wine. It was a very warm evening and we sat outside with some other diners. The service was friendly and luckily for us was able to be translated into English for us. It is in a small village in the local square and easily missed if you drive... More

we were staying in the village and turned up to this restaurant without a reservation. the chef was so lovely! despite a language barrier (his wife does speak english but she wasn't there until later in the meal) he was so helpful and arranged a special meal for my husband who is a vegetarian which was delicious! I had the... More

Just what you hope to find in rural France and sadly no longer often do - a welcoming, family restaurant with good-quality, tasty, regional cooking & excellent local wines.

We were given a table for two overlooking the town square, were given menus immediately and helped with French terms by the wife of the chef, who speaks excellent English and who served us herself too. Very friendly couple, who run a cosy restaurant with delicious fare: we both had different versions of duck, which were delicious. Profiteroles like this... More

I was recommended this restaurant by a local vigneron, who also warned me about the somewhat tempremental behaviour of the chef. He could not have been more wrong. The chef and his wife welcomed us into the restaurant and talked to us in both English and French. It must be said we were the only 3 customers that lunchtime, but... More
