High Quality, Great Views and Service

I often eat here on route to or from football matches, whether quiet or busy (which it can get) we're always made to feel welcome and promptly seated and served. Food always arrives in good time and always impeccably cooked, I've often sent back mixed grills and real ales in other pubs and... read more

We had a lovely lunch, the food was very good and the staff were very friendly. This was our second visit and we would go again. There was a large choice of food on the menu. Good value for money

The food was nothing more than average, with the starter comprising two of the smallest fishcakes I've ever seen, made up mostly of salmon. the main was stir fried king prawns with noodles, although the overall impression left was one of attempted pretension.

Dear BillLowery, Thank you for taking the time to post a review about your recent visit. On the day of your visit you chose a starter that was from our set specials menu and a main from our bar menu. On the day we were more than happy to do that as we pride ourselves on excellent customer service. In... More

Dear Mary M, Thank you for taking the time to post such a lovely review about your recent visit. I remember the evening in which you visited and I couldn't believe the irony of the situation! We had a table of 5 booked 15 minutes before yourselves and we therefore amended the seating in the restaurant to accommodate this, when... More

Not been to the Copt for several years and was pleasantly surprised. Decor had been updated and dogs are now allowed in the bar area. You can still eat in the bar which was perfect for our family visit with dog in tow. We all had the Sunday Carvey. Excellent choice of meats and all piping hot. You can also... More

Dear 416gwynethb, Thank you for taking the time to post a review about your recent visit. On the day of your visit we experienced a very high volume of walk-in customers which added a small wait to food. We like to encourage our customers to book therefore we can manage the timings in which customers arrive to diminish any wait... More
