We visited Lo Scrigno 3 times in 2 weeks and each time we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome, the excellent food and the attention given to us although the place was crowded by local people, which created the atmosphere we were looking for in Sicily.

We happened here following Tripadvisor recomendations. Indeed, it is excellent in every aspect. We have tried a couple of cheese-based antipasti and two first courses. Wow is a correct word, one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.

This is a Trip advisor find. I knew we were to pass through Palazzolo on the way home from the walk and swim In Pantalica and so I consulted the list of bests in the city and this restaurant ranked #1. We were guided to the front door by a very gracious local who told us to follow him all... More

We had some lovely local seafood, very well prepared and enjoyed a relaxing meal in an excellent setting with fine wine.

A wonderful place serving fantastic food and wine. Try the mixed fish first course. The best in Sicily. Tuna dish was amazing. Lovely local wines. Wish we could return.

What a fabulous dinner ....the antipasto degustione of locally produced fayre was out of this world all wonderfully explained by owner Lydia and prepared beautifully by chef Paulo. The shared primo, secondi and dolce were superb as was the recommend wine. A very special Slow Food experience.

no surprise all guidebooks will lead you to Lo Scrigno dei Sapori if by chance you spend a few days in Palazzolo Acreide. one of the least known of the Barrocco cities of south east Sicily it is also one of the most authentic although its rugged charm is quite different from that of its sister cities like Siracusa or... We were staying locally last week and went to the restaurants recommended by the travel agent and past guests but found this one for ourselves and it was the best we tried. The service is friendly and the waitress was happy to explain anything we didn't understand on the menu. We had the starter for two which had 8 different... More
