We had not intended to eat lunch out but got caught in a thunderstorm and found this place. Were greeted and served by Andrea and had a fantastic meal. We had a five course set menu at €30. Each course was prepared while we waited and each was delicious. When it came to dolce we were each given a different... More

From the tasteful interior, modern and scrupulously clean kitchen and bathroom to the friendly but highly professional service, it would be hard to beat this restaurant. And then the dishes: exquisitely prepared SLOW food dishes with the best local ingredients (including local truffles - we did't even know they had them). It would be hard to beat such value for... Stayed here on a cycling trip across Sicily in May 2013. Stumbled on this restaurant as it looked good from outside. The food was excellent. We had the Mountain tasting menu at €32 each. Lots of nice stuff that we had not had before and sensible portion sizes (i.e. not a bloat out on pasta/pizza). Wine was excellent Nero d'Avola... More

Welcoming and very knowledgeable chef and staff. Imaginative appetizers, excellent selection of entrees and desserts, lovely presentation, exquisite flavours. Good selection of wines too. Everything exceeded our expectations, and the meal was reasonably-priced! We will go back. Outdoor patio in season.

I had some fabulous meals on my week long trip to Sicily and this was the best. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Although they didn't have local wine, she recommended a lovely inexpensive bottle that was perfect. She helped us decide on our food and suggested the best local selection for a friend. I had wonderful ricotta ravioli... More

The restaurant has recently moved and is now right off the main thoroughfare and central plaza in town. Informal but with class. We were welcomed without reservation by a friendly staff and hostess, and after an initial seating indoors, we discovered the lovely terrace tables, where we moved without any problem. The hostess [proprietor?] gave an instructive description of the... More
