We came in for a friday lunch for a menu piccola €25 and had a great experience. We had a modern adaptation of caprese(cold tomatosoup, creme of buffola mozzarella and cooked pieces of fish) agniolotti(small ravioli), vitello tonatto and barolo braised veal ! It was all very good and the pasta is one of the best pasta meals I have... More

we were here during the truffle season and made a reservation through local friends. The service form the moment we arrived was excellent. The truffles were not so good but we can't hold the restaurant responsible for this.... they generally weren't good anywhere this season. The pasta was amazing, fresh and served beautifully cooked. I'd definately recommend this place to... More

After our visit at Coppo, we went to visit the restaurant San Marco...its food is fantastic. The service is one of the best in Piemont. We easy and non down to earth, the atmosphere is maybe not the best you can find, as well as the lighting in the restaurant is not my favorite. But despite this, its a must... More

Service is warm and welcoming, food really good, but the selection of cheese, little homemade jams and sweeties and also wine are just superb!

I just got back from a truffle enhanced week-end near Alba, the mecca of white Piedmont truffles. Me and my partner have followed few recommendations and decided to try out San Marco. We really liked the easiness and down to earth vibe of the restaurant at first. The menu was so extensive, complex and to be honest, very confusing, we... More

We went to this Michelin rated restaurant and had a good meal. It had a good menu with a nice mix og fish and meat dishes and an extensive wine menu. Service was excellent. Perhaps a little bit overrated.

Excellent restaurant, elegant envronment, excellent menu and wines. On the down side, I was not impressed by the exterior, maybe I was just mislead by the description on the website,I expected a sort of villa in the countryside, while the building is now well within the town of Canelli. Pricewise, we were served a glass of local excellent Italian Champagne... More

Went with family and tried both menus in early November 2010 - both of them were great! Very good Piedmontese cuisine (although the Gener Neuv, another Michelin starred restaurant just 15 miles away, is slightly more inventive). The owner mentioned that he is a 'trifulao' (truffle hunter) - they had really good Alba truffles...
