So good we ate here twice in a four-night stay! You have to be careful with restaurant selection in Fitou (not every restaurant is open every night and so it's generally worth booking in advance), but you should certainly come here if you can. We were lucky to get a reservation for late-ish on a Thursday evening. We got a... More

Very good quality. Delicious food & wine, buzzy ambience in a rustic style decor. Very good value & friendly staff. Definitely visit when in Fitou. Enjoy!

Haven't been to Fitou for a while and had been told by locals that Cave d'Agnes was the best place to eat this year, but that it had changed hands. Well they were wrong on the second count and right on the first. The service is excellent even when very busy, the food is tasty and interesting, and it's great... More

I was surprised by my husband and friends with a birthday with a dinner at La Cave D'Agnes. We all enjoyed every mouthwatering taste starting with delicious olives and bread with our aperitif to our starters and our fabulous plate. Everything made for a delightful evening. We all tried something different from the menu and every bite was delicious! We... More

We were here on our first night as we stayed close by. Warm welcome by a young Belgian couple. Lovely food, a bit cheffy and nicely served. Main let down was no house wine and the wine list was astronomical. €29 for a pleasant bottle of rose, which in a wine village was probably not unusual, but it did seem... More

We've been Fitou on the national road several times. This is the first time we went to Fitou the village, a very nice surprise. We stopped at La Cave d'Agnes for lunch on our way further south and had a very memorable meal. The owners were incredibly friendly, professional and delivered delicious food complemented by a nice Fitou red. Everything... More

Our first visit to this lovely restaurant, and it won't be our last. We had the €26 set menu. My starter was beautifully cooked squid in a subtle leek and cream sauce - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside - followed by a well prepared "poisson du moment". We were recommended an interesting wine - an organic dry... More

The restaurant was about half full which was good for a Tuesday evening. My partner is a vegetarian but it was not a problem sorting out with the waiter how this dish or that dish could be modified. A pleasant old world décor, good menu and an equally good wine list. 3 good courses, well presented in a modern style.... More

This was a great restaurant recommended to us by our next door hotel (Troiz). We both had fois gras (chard,) and it was the best either of us had ever enjoyed. The wine recommendation was excellent. The main courses, coffee and service were all excellent. The clientele was largely English - not the restaurant' s fault! But it was good... More

Arrive at any airport at lunchtime and the first dilemma is where to find a local decent restaurant before it is too late - thanks again to Trip Advisor as within half an hour of arriving at Perpignan airport the sat nav found the Restaurant La Cave D'agnes. As with most French Restaurants, a quick "on est trois, on peut... More
