French hospitality when it is best.

It has always been a pleasure to visit Cave D`Àgnes, We are always greeted as a friend of the house, dinner for two ore in a big group, it makes no difference. The food is served as a treat to the eye and a wonderful experience to the taste-buds. The restaurant it self is countryside, with a wood... read more

As the title states, not much more to say. If you are in the area then it is certainly worth a visit. Simple yet elegant, lovely setting and atmosphere, great food & wine served by nice people. It is a formalish dining room but don't be put off taking children, we took a 2 and a 6 year ol. The... More

The flavours and composition were sublime, the piece du boucher and magret de canard were wonderfully tender, and... More

Very busy on a summer evening and you can understand why! Great set menu which was pretty good value with lovely local wines - fantastic duck with carrot puree.

So good we ate here twice in a four-night stay! You have to be careful with restaurant selection in Fitou (not every restaurant is open every night and so it's generally worth booking in advance), but you should certainly come here if you can. We were lucky to get a reservation for late-ish on a Thursday evening. We got a... More
