Bookings are necessary for this small restaurant and the ambiance and service provide the reason why. The food was excellent and an excellent service level was maintained when the electricity supply decided to fail. No customers went short and no meals were spoiled. The only change we noted was the flashing lights until candles were supplied and the explanation provided.... More

We had an amazing meal here last night. Perfect in every way. Walking in to the restaurant we were greeted by the friendly owner who gave us a lovely table near a window. The decor is great, with comfy wicker chairs and white cushions. The place comes across as classy but comfortable. I ordered goats cheese with caramelised pear, whilst... More

We have been here many times - and it's always great. In the winter it's warm and cosy with a real fire. In the summer you can sit outside and sip your kir or have your meal while looking across the lake. All the food is local. You can see Denis shopping at the Thursday market in Huelgoat or in... More

Found this great place via trip advisor and it goes to show you can trust the reviews. Five of us ate there on the 24th May and it was lovely. The food lovingly prepared by the owner was a delight as was the front of house service offered by Jennifer the co-owner. The whole evening topped with w great wine... More

We stayed for 4 nights bed & breakfast and ate in the restaurant the two nights that it was open (at the time of writing the restaurant is open in the evening for four nights but understand that this increases in the summer months). Our room was light and airy and was simply but nicely furnished. We had an antique... More

Our host at a nearby vacation rental recommended La Mirabelle and made a reservation for us. We had an amazing meal--my husband and I couldn't have wished for a better meal to finish our visit to Brittany. After we had eaten, we were given a leisurely tour of the garden by Jennifer; what a lovely location for a summer meal,... More

My husband, daughter and I visited here for the first time, this April. It was a lovely surprise. The setting, decor, service and attention to detail was excellent. The menu was varied and appetising to read. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning. I would like to sit outside and experience the alfresco meal! It was a... More

What a wonderful restaurant. We went on a quiet night and we were made to feel so welcome. It felt like the food was cooked especially for us - which, of course, it was! I had smoked haddock risotto, rack of lamb and creme brûlée. Absolutely faultless. My husband, who is not much of a fish or meat eater had... More
