Done Sunday lunch on the recommendation from a friend. It was as good as you will get anywhere. Hats off to the chefs. The staff were attentive and the decor is as you would expect from a country pub.

If you don't mind can you contact the manager at The pheasant immediately on 02892638056. This is an extremely serious unsubstantiated allegation that has not been given a full & proper investigation. More

I visited this cute little place on my way home to Newry from belfast. Being number one and having dined in the parsons nose several times I couldn't wait to try what is being voted better and number one!! I had the 8oz fillet. I asked for a side of veg and they explained it came with that .. Great!... More

The pheasant is our local, and we've been going there for over a decade. The staff are always professional and friendly, food reliably good and there is a choice of restaurant or bar dining. You won't be disappointed.

Average atmosphere. Food ok. Service varied from good to slow. Fairly uninspiring overall. Have been before and it's pretty consistent. Nothing much else in the area other than the Parson's Nose in Hillsborough. Worth a go.

Had a fabulous family lunch here today for mums birthday. Good variety of dishes on menu both starters and mains. Good portion sizes. Had a fabulous steak dinner. Deserts lovely and good portions all family favourites. Best sticky toffee pudding ever. Enjoyed every course as did everyone else. All kids friendly. Will be back.
