Holiday Menu

Went for lunch on Tuesday 14th July. When we were seated and given the menu we were disappointed to find it was a holiday menu and not what we had looked at on the website. A very limited choice. What we ordered was very nice but not worth traveling 40 miles for. We both had the pork rib with the... read more

The atmosphere is amazing. We had been to Scotland to the Open and made our way into Northern Ireland. This is such a fantastic restaurant. The meal was superb. The final round of the open was in the bar so we moved our supper in there to watch the Open. The restaurant staff was very accommodating.

This is our first visit to the pheasant and we were not disappointed. The Food here is lovely and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. This place has a really nice relaxed atmosphere. Rump steak and garlic potatoes are amazing, and the aero cheesecake has to be tried. Will definitely visit again

We visit this restaurant quite frequently and the standard is always very good. Our son has the 12 oz. Sirloin steak and maintains there is nowhere better for a steak. We go to this restaurant for special family occasions and we all just love it. It is always advisable to book, if possible. It is not cheap but the food... More

Called in for lunch one day, they took us straight away even though we hadn't booked. The burgers were amazing. Excellent service and lovely atmosphere. Also great value for money. I'll be back again.

Regardless of what we ever order it is always super. Risotto, shredded beef starters are brilliant. Lovely flavours come through. Menu well thought through. We have 2 boys who are generally fussy eaters but always clear their plates at The Pheasant. My husband is vegetarian and there are more options than in majority of NI restaurants. I hardly ever orde... More

I think this last visit to the Seafood Gourmet evening was our fourth to this venue for an event like this, and on each successive evening the food served gets progressively better. Each course was outstanding, causing much debate between my partner and I over which was the best (my vote was for the lobster!) The wine served was also... More

Done Sunday lunch on the recommendation from a friend. It was as good as you will get anywhere. Hats off to the chefs. The staff were attentive and the decor is as you would expect from a country pub.
