Went back to The Pheasant again recently. Delighted that the food was as good as ever and the service (which can sometimes be hit or miss) was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyable dinner. Portion sizes are huge!

Just passing and called in were told kitchen was busy and could be 30 mins for food to arrive. Glad we were told but not a problem anyway expected to wait as it was busy. Food arrived in 20 mins, well presented, tasted great. Service was fantastic. Will make a point of calling again. A*****.

We took friends out for Sunday lunch, on their recommendation - both families had a lovely meal in nice surroundings and we were served by pleasant staff. Meal choice was good and also good value for money - recommended for families.
