All good things to say. Waitress was super, food was great (you've gotta have the homemade roll!!) and big portions! We had to take dessert to go because we were so full, but couldn't pass on the dozen or so homemade pie options. Was absolutely the perfect place to stop.

My wife and I go for early morning drives on the weekend and look for small family owned restaurants for breakfast. Periodically we end up at Rapid Valley in Lansdowne for breakfast. Servers are very friendly and attentive and the meal is very good and inexpensive.

Went for a family dinner last weekend and we were all happy with what we had. The turkey is real turkey, never turkey roll. The pies are awesome, with homemade pastry. Service was great. Prices are good and portions huge (too big, in fact). Highly recommended for a casual dinner.

As a local to the area, this is where you go for great, no nonsense food. Just like mom used to make, it's an inexpensive place to get a great meal. No guff.

As the sign says when you first drive in Lansdowne, The food is good & the bathrooms are clean. The roast beef sandwich was gigantic, had no problem finishing it; However I could have had only half of it, if it had been served with some veggies. The staff was very nice & the place was spotless. We did notice... More
