Good seafood, great view, cold beer.

Ate there for lunch during a Sunday afternoon cruise down the 1000 Islands Parkway. Beer and hard ciderwere cold and promptly served. Shrimp, crab dip and seafood stew all very tasty. Fish and chips, to s, etc served to adjoining tables all appeared to be healthy portons. Excellent view of the... read more

We were staying practically across the street at the KOA, and since it was pouring all day, the patio was closed. there was a reasonably nice view of the marina, but service was slow, food was bland (although I LOVED the french fries! I was picking them off my kids' plates, wishing I hadn't ordered pasta) I thought it was... More

I arrived by boat on a gorgeous hot sunny day on the river to a local watering hole for a Saturday beer and wings. The view here is fabulous and it's a place you want to support and love as a river destination. The atmosphere is casual, just what you want when relaxing with friends. I ordered the Buffalo Wings.... More

We visited on a Friday evening and had a great dinner. Lots of shrimp on the menu, my favourite. Husband had the Fish and Chips, the fish was very flaky, with a nice batter, Our friend had the pasta special and really liked it.The rum cake is very good. We had a great evening and plan to come back soon.

Hi Mike....the best bartender around!!! We had two great nights at Smuggler's Run, once on friday night with our son...Lobster was on special so we ordered that, chicken wings and a steak dinner. all were delicious. The piece of corn with the lobster could have been fresher but the lobster was wonderful. On Monday we always go for chicken wings.... More

Being we live very close to the area we decided to go there for supper, being that we had not been there this year. Not at all like other years. We will usually go here three or four times over the summer, this will be our last visit. Very disappointed in the menu and the pricing for what you receive... More

We found the prices to be a bit high for the amount of food served. I had the low country boil which was supposed to have sausage as one of the items, but mine had none. The shrimp were fine, but overall I was not impressed.

My husband and I were staying in Gananoque (at The Inn) and took our bikes down the 1000 Parkway to Ivy Lea. This is one of the most awesome bike paths in the country: separated bike lane, beautiful views...a perfect 15k down the road to Smugglers Run for a beer and snack. The service was very friendly; since we weren't... More

I really do love Smugglers. It's always been one of my favourite restaurants, and family/friends and I end up there at least 4+ times a season, traveling from Kingston, and spending at least a few hundred dollars on drinks, appetizers, and main courses. There have been a few times where the service has not met my expectations. Sometimes the wait... More
