A very enjoyable lunch

Despite it being virtually on my doorstep, until this visit I had never been in Pier 36. The staff were attentive, helpful, and friendly despite it being a busy lunchtime. The food was 1st class and in my opinion very reasonably priced. Would I go back again? Almost certainly.

One of my favourite places in the world, this little restaurant has it all, as soon as you walk in you can feel the lovely welcoming atmosphere, you will go far to find friendlier staff than those in Pier 36, whatever mood I'm in I can be guaranteed it will be satisfied after visiting here, they host jazz nights, music... I don't usually write a review but I felt the need on this occasion as I have been to this restaurant many times over the last few months and have never been dissapointed. The staff are 'second to none' and the food is delicious/cooked to perfection! I would recommend to anyone wether you are a couple or a party of... More

This was our first visit we were allocated a seat at the door we were not offered a table in the restaurant this was not an option provided. It was a bit cold with the door opening. The service was extremely slow and it did not appear over busy. Some staff were more friendly than others. The steak was one... More

Came for dinner as a group of 5. My dinner felt like it had been left under the heat lamp too long and was rubbery and burned in some places. My friends fish pie was bland, not enough seasoning and was "stodgy". Everything else was fantastic. The owner was really into his craft beers, the service was great, perhaps it... More

We arrived last night at Pier36 having been let down by Grace Neils in Donaghadee who took our booking then hadn't the decency to inform us they were closed!! So without having a reservation we were met in the restaurant by a very attentive waitress, who quickly found us a nice quiet table and presented us with menus and took... More

This is an excellent family run restaurant on the seafront with lots of staff. No open views of the sea however , but a new development closeby by this owner will soon amend this. An early sunday lunch was easy to get but It became very busy by 1pm. We ordered from the sunday lunch menu with two courses for... More
