Fair enough. We felt that maybe they'd had a busy day and it showed slightly. Wrong order brought for my daughter in law. Although there was nothing wrong with the meal it had no distinguishing features-not memorable for a place with such a reputation. Menu unremarkable. Meh.

Pier 36 Donaghdee, Co. Down Family dinner for 5 and a nightmare for 1. We decided to try the new 'Chicken Shack', located at the back or Pier 36, in the outdoor section on Friday evening. £7.95 for 1/2 a Chicken and Chips with Peppercorn Sauce. We all ordered the same thing and we ordered 3 Side Salads at £3.00... More

When out for a drive we were trying to find a parking place and found one outside Pier36. What luck that was. We were made welcome by the most friendly staff and felt like we were meeting old friends even though this was our first visit. The food was wonderful. My husband said his burger was the best he ever... More

Dear OVH81, Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience at Pier 36 with trip Advisor. We dry age our steaks on site in a specially designed cold room, this makes for the great steaks! As a family run business, it is nice to get recognition from our customers about our food and staff. Food is great here, staff are excellent, the owner and his boys are great fun and make you feel very welcome, but have to say the appearance of your customers now, is very disappointing. When this place opened, it was a restaurant to dress up for a classy evening out. However, your total bill is excessive to be sitting alongside... More

I was left with the driver minding the coach and decided to slip into a almost unnoticeable bar for an Ulster fry and a tea. As I told... More
