Lovely Bistro

Great modern bistro in town. Staff helpful and welcoming - good atmosphere. Fantastic soup aux moules to start. Main less impressive. Wine again very good value and sensibly priced. Good value, good qulity carafes - it should be in the Cotes du Rhone but so many French restaurants can or won't... read more

Ate here on the recommendation of our hotelier. I had lamb, my dinner partner had the duck. Both meals were superb. We tried our minimal French as we always do, the server was gracious but helped us out with great English when we got stuck. Also had dessert - the chocolate mousse and an apple concoction. Wonderful. One glass of... More

Went with a party of 6 for dinner in May. Extremely pleased with the quality of this place. The food in this restaurant was absolutely delicious. Fois gras for starter, followed by the magret de canard and the chocolate mousse to finish. Others in the party ate the filet and tried other starters - none disappointed. Large portions for France... More

Just at the feet of Mont Ventoux, Malaucene is a lovely place that can offer you a pleasant stay. This little family restaurant seems freshly renovated, painted and all. As it was raining the whole evening we didn't have any experience on the terrace. The food is excellent, though portions are quite copious - so, if you're preparing to jump... More

Excellent experience and top class all the Way. The best place in Malaucene at the moment. The menu contains all the best from Provence.

Chez Laurette has changed hands and has seen better days. The outdoor terrasse is right on the street. The passing car noise and fumes are not good for allergies.

Very good food - fear price for this quality. Better to book inside than to be outside on the terrasse (except if for a dinner as the street should be less busy)

We've been visiting Chez Laurette for several years and it has had it's fair share of ups and downs. Last year however, we discovered there were new owners who had changed the look of the place completely, as well as the menu. We were stunned by the transformation and astounded by the quality of the meal. The format is simple;... More

After browsing reviews of restaurants in Malaucene and checking the place out we made a reservation for a dinner for two on July 12, 2014. My wife and I (early 30s) appreciated the friendly welcome and the nice setting upon our arrival. We decided to go for a 3-course menu which was affordable. The food we were served can be... More

Alot of the restaurants in Malaucene appeared to be serving basic food but Chez Laurette had an extensive menu and great wine. The service was friendly and very efficient. We dined here on several occasions during the seven days stay nr Malaucene.
