We took friends here, so we had reserved a table for 6. Having eaten here many times before, we knew it would be good and it was! We were welcomed by the owner and as we were early, sat down to have a drink. Our table was right on the river by the bridge and the weather was warm and... More

I saw it as we drove over the beautiful bridge leaving Saint Antonin behind. Thought "I'd like to give it a try whilst we are here " . Glad we did . All perfectly acceptable ,reasonably priced ,well prepared , English spoken, maybe a little bit too slow a service but "hey ho' " we were on holiday and when... More

Festin de Babette is a lively, friendly restaurant situated right next to the river. In the evenings, watching the sun set over the water can be very pleasant and the waiters and waitresses are generally friendly. There are usually a large number of tourists from the surrounding holiday villas etc. but this does not detract from the atmosphere, in fact,... More

Heading as we were for Albi but having set off late we decided to stop for lunch in St Antonin. We were a group of 4 and noticed the location of Le Festin on the river bank and thought - great location and asked for this empty table and persuaded the young server to give us the only empty table... The location is lovely, right on the side of the river near the main bridge into St Antonin. The staff were pleasant and the food was just ok for the price. It's standard fare and it's possible to eat better and have better value for money in St Antonin. If you want to sit on the terrace right next to... More

Ate here a few times, the food offers decent value and the location is fantastic overlooking the river, would go again at anytime.

This has a relaxing setting , on the banks of the river - if you get a terrace table.- if not , the main restaurant is across the road. The service was friendly and efficient however the menu was quite restrictive and overall the food average at above average price. There are better places to eat in town , albeit... More

Great location, but the food doesn't come up to scratch. I think most of it comes from a microwave. Its just not good at all. The restaurant seems to survive because of its location and on the tourist trade.

Perfect view from the terrace on the banks of the Aveyron; good. attentive service; excellent wine list; sadly the food, though quite acceptable, disappointed. Unimaginative starter, strange vegetable dish (meat was beautifully cooked and the highlight of the meal), very odd dessert.

We were entertaining friends for dinner and we sat outside with a lovely view of the town. We could have chosen cheaper options but we enjoyed some wonderful local dishes, well-presented and delicious to eat. The wine was excellent and we were well-looked after. They were busy but they looked after us very well throughout the evening. We had been... More
