Returned for more and still as good as ever

We had dinner here with friends last year (2014) and I returned this year with my partner for lunch on Saturday afternoon. Happy to report that this place is still as good as ever, wonderful food and service. If you're in the region, well worth a detour!

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous lunch on the Terrace of La Closerie recently. The quality, presentation and complexity of the flavors of the summer menu were all wonderful. The service is first class. We will definitely return on our next trip to Provence.

A perfectly decent restaurant, but definitely not star quality in any respect. The price of food and drink is very good for a starred restaurant and the service is generally relaxed and friendly. It just isn't star material. We had the menu gourmand and chose the mushroom veloute with truffles and poached egg - egg was great, soup was heavy,... More

My husband and I along with two friends enjoyed a wonderful lunch at a set price of €44 per person. An absolutely fantastic price for a one Michellan star restaurant. Our four courses which began with a seared salmon amuse bouchée, saw us choose three different meals all of a very high standard, delicious! The delightful owners, husband chef and... More

This little, charming restaurant, well deserves its Michelin status. The food is divine. Our crab starters, our turbot mains, our cheeses and our wild strawberry desserts were quite faultless, beautifully presented and expertly produced. Our Chateau La Verriere was perfect. The waiting staff were delightful and I could add even more superlatives which would be superfluous. This place is a... More

We had lunch here at the recommendation of friends who have been coming and spending time in Provence for many years. The food was, without a doubt, spectacular. Both my husband and I ordered their "Gourmand" but our choices were different. We figured if one of us didn't like their selection, we could switch or share. Needless to say, we... More

This extremely popular restaurant now has a Michelin star and it is deserved. Book well in advance(at least one week). The menu changes frequently so just go expecting several good choices. Delphine and her all woman serving staff are terrific, your service will equal the meal. What are u waiting for?

Lovely small restaurant in the Luberon. We saw how popular it was mid-week on a passing visit and made a reservation for the following Sunday (it's not very big so reservations essential). Great food (€42 menu) and a very enjoyable lunch.

It was a beautiful autumn day in the Luberon. The drive is spectacular and the destination a perfect picture village. You have to book at this tiny place very well in advance and for a good reason. they have a tiny terrace too but yesterday we ate inside. The interior is stylish but under-stated and the welcome was professional but... More

Delphine and Olivier, with their happy helpers, always provide us with an excellent and delicious experience whatever time of year. We are very lucky to live so close to this restaurant. Seasonal produce always presented beautifully and originally. One negative - they are very busy so sometimes difficult to get in!! My fault for always calling last minute.
