Best breakfast I have eaten for a long time.

We were staying in the nearby Waves B&B. They don't provide breakfast on site but instead give you a token to come and have breakfast in one of two local places. We chose this one, having passed it on our way and thinking it looked nice. The guys who run it were really friendly and informative... read more

A relaxed, friendly and delicious example of how simple dishes should be served well. 5 varied courses, a la francaise, with no clue as to what you are about to be served. Rustic charm, caraffes of wine and all at a hugely reasonable and competitive price. An absolute gem of a place- we WILL be back!

Went to tonight's special themed evenings. Five courses each one better than the last. The slow roast lamb was melt in the mouth. Booking is essential and you have to be quick........only 22 covers!

Very small deli/cafe. Extremely friendly staff, sandwiches (we had the ploughmans and the beef brisket) put some national names to shame. When I paid the bill I couldn't believe how little it was. Not sure I should put this up as it will be inundated with visitors and spoil its charm. Sandwiches will never be the same again after this... More

Jason, owner/chef takes real pride in his work. I came 2 days running, excellent coffee, beetroot salad and cinnamon toast day 1, in house smoked Brie with homemade pickle served with crispy fresh coleslaw. And I wasn't made to feel out of place!

Great little deli in beautiful Minnis bay, home made cured meats and various other deli produce, excellent sandwiches and the odd special. I had a pulled pork stroganoff and it was superb. I visit regularly.

I have visited this amazing little place twice now, the first time I visited with my wife and we stumbled upon it only because The Minnis has misinformed us about their service times. we had a breakfast each and a platter and I can honestly say it was some of the finest cured meats and breakfast I have ever eaten....
