We went there on a Monday. There were only 3 dishes to choose from. The restaurant was rather empty. The food quality and the service were ok,

the most dinner options in Anse Volbert are rather pricey and not very authentic. Lakaz is reasonably priced (for Praslin standards), and very authentic. They usually have only a few dinner options: grilled fish, prawns or chicken. Everything I tasted there was well prepared from fresh ingredients and tasty. Especially their mango salad, which is a typical Seychellois side dish,... More

Had a delightful delicious lunch at reasonable price. Most restaurants on the island are expensive and you have to look long and hard for a restaurant with local flavour. Casual rustic and well worth it.

Very good food, great location, very suggestive! It was suggested by our friend Pierre from Villas D'Or, price is very competitive for Anse Volbert location.

We came across this place based on a recommendation from the manager of our hotel and boy were we glad we ate there. It's not a fancy place if you are looking for that instead it is a small family run hotel that serves up some very tasty, homemade Creole food. The lady of the house is the cook and... More

I went with my husband on a rainy night to have dinner here. They brought a towel for us to dry ourselves to make us comfortable. The restaurant is very basic, all with natural materials, no bricks nor cement, a comfy hut would probably be the best way to describe it. The food was delicious, portions were large, and the... This gem of a place was recommended by one of the girls at Octopus Divers. For 300 Rps, we ate like kings. Such good value for money considering the often ripoff prices that abound on the islands. We had a selection of tasty creole dishes laid before us, with a cool SeyBrew (beer) to wash it all down. The setting... More

The food was passable and very expensive (SCR 300 for a few shrimps). The exchange rate into euros was by far the worst on the island. There are definitely better places out there.

If you have ever been to a she been in Soweto and felt comfortable then this is the place for you. We had a great plate of prawns and a smoothy all of which was basically all that they had and could offer us. But it was great. You have to be in the mood for something a little rough... More
