An experience

This place is unique as we have never come across any thing like it, dont think your going to get fine dinning as the place is a bit of a shambles but in a nice way, the owner goes out of his way to make you welcome and the fish of the day is great its a must visit

There is a huge difference between quirky and poor. The nice old gentleman(as some of our contributors have described him) was mixing red and white wine from plastic tubs and passing it off as rosy. Ouzo was some other random drink and no idea what the vodka was. The only food that was worth eating was the fish that had... More

We walked passed this restaurants for several evenings before deciding to try it and ended up eating here twice. The fish we had was the best and freshest we had all holiday, the kids loved their food and even tried things they had previously refused too ( mainly as the owner encouraged then to!) Yes service isn't always the fastest,... More

...you can taste one of the best fish cooked over the island. I suggest to have a glance at the menu but to let you drive by the old man there, Michaels, a fisherman who worked and lived out of Greece. He speeks Italian and English and his own way to onboard you into his taverna is peculiar - he... More

First time we went we enjoyed our traditional Greek food and went back a second time. However he was quite busy and we weren't too happy with the service. There was only one waiter. Overall though not bad.

I do feel quite bad giving this place a poor rating because the old fella that owns the place is lovely. We didn't eat there but stopped for a drink one evening. The draft beer was completely off! Needless to say, we didn't drink it.

A lovely man who was very welcoming in telling us where to visit in Skiathos. The food was also top notch; I couldn't fault it. It did feel a bit like the owner was just throwing a sales pitch to get you in, and wasn't that bothered about us as people, but perhaps this was just my perceptions. Still, great... More

We got takeaway pizza to eat on the beach to watch the sun go down. We didnt get asked what kind of pizza and it did take a while, but we got given complimentary drinks while we waited and the pizzas were definitely worth the wait

I visited this restaurant for the first time around 6 years ago, and enjoyed the traditional food and the cheeky captain. So on return to the island with all my family (11 of us) we decided to visit here on our last night. We were not disappointed. The food was fab. Not a single bad meal amongst us all. And... More
