Another excellent night at Cacto!

What can you say about this place, excellent food and a great welcome from the host and owner, Sussie. We have ate here earlier in the year and decided to try it again when Holidaying with friends in October. It is just outside Lagos in Odiaxere, maybe a five minute drive, but worth leaving town for. Family run, quirky style... More

Warmly greeted upon arrival, served quickly and efficiently. Couvert delicious. Be aware that Danish prawns are to the English, shrimps - I do not think fresh and not to my taste. The steak was cooked to perfection - amazing chef. I commented when receiving the bill that I had not taken in that the sauce on the steak was extra,... More

Love love love Wonderful owners and staff. So happy we had dinner here. Bread was warm from the oven. I recommend the red house wine, smooth! Muscles in broth were best I have had other than in Paris ! The most gracious hosts. Eat here! Period!

Visited as a family. The host was very friendly and accommodating , and the setting is pleasant inside - but the food was a mixed bag. I had the prawns which were so so, the other adult had the roasted cod, which came on cheesy mashed potato. All tasted ok, but the menu probably would benefit from an refresh

Was really disappointed with this place, was expecting so much more as most of the reviews were very positive. Very 80's style of crudités with limited menu! After walking into restaurant on warm evening ( 4 of us ) with small bottle of water half empty the first thing we were told was that we better not drink that in... More

Ate here mid August 2015, lovely host! 4 adults 4 children all very much enjoyed their meals. The cod was amazing and the very excellent fillet steak was like butter in your mouth! Wonderful!

Ate here last night, 4 adults and 3 children. Lovely feel to the place, interesting menu. Very friendly service and nice crudités and freshly baked rolls to whet our appetites. Nothing was a problem for them, confident, happy service. Presentation as good as the food tasted! Food was exceptional and we are going to eat there again next week. Desserts... More
