Good Hotel Food - Reasonably Priced and Friendly Service

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and several lunches and dinners here. Solid hotel food prepared nicely. This is not fine dining but a lovely setting with simple and good food. Be sure to book your hotel room to include breakfast if you can get a deal for 3 days or more. A good value - something... read more

We were here for Brunch (included with our room), a regular breakfast, late lunch and dinner. I am not sure if they are under staffed or super slow. For the prices and it being located at the intercontinental resort it was very disappointing. Food is less than mediocre and we really didn't have costly options to go off the resort... More

This is the main restaurant at the Intercontinental Resort in Tahiti. We ate most four meals here. We are rating it Excellent because of the breakfast buffet. This is an enormous spread. There are tables full of virtually anything you could possibly want, from fish, cheese, cereal, fruit and more fruit, eggs, pastries of all kinds, pancakes, and on and... More

Nice setting overlooking the lagoon which makes it rate very good as everything else was just average. This might be because upon our arrival the electricity had just come back on so they were in a catch up mode during a busy breakfast rush. The service was slow, the breakfast good, yet just average. We finally got our check by... More

On the last day of our 2 weeks trip to French Polynesia we had long layover in Papeete (>5 hrs). We didn’t want to just sit in airport. We were hoping to have dinner in Le Lotus - fine dining restaurant in the InterContinental hotel, but they had some private function on that day and it was closed to public.... More

My wife and I ate here for a late lunch as we arrived and just wanted a simple lunch. Perhaps their buffet would have been a better option. Service was extremely slow, food had no seasoning (vegetables and main) and my "seared tuna" was coooked all the way through.. I had seared tuna half a dozen times at other hotels... More

Meals were the same thing every day, serving staff do their best but the food lets them down, the resort puts on special entertainment to attract diners but its hard to please when the management won't review and change the menu.

We ate breakfast and enjoyed the Friday Polynesian buffet and show at this restaurant. It has a view of the pool, lagoon and Moorea. The food was very good but much pricier than we would expect to pay in the U.S. The selection at the buffet for both breakfast and dinner was very good, with both hot and cold dishes,... More

The buffet dinner was way overpriced ($75 U.S. per person) for ok food. The regular menu was good it not anything special. I would skip this place for the other restaurant on the property any day

...you won't be disappointed! We stayed at the hotel, and wandered down for dinner to this beautiful open-air restaurant. My husband ordered the chicken in coconut milk, I the seared tuna. Both were excellent! The following day, we experienced Sunday brunch in the same, and on our last night, the island buffet. We were given a discount this last time,... More
