We stayed at the Intercontinental for 3 days. We had all of our breakfasts here and some lunches and 2 dinners. The options and selections were nice. The breakfast could use a few more items. The prices are steep, but in keeping with Tahiti. Keep in mind that the tip is basically included. I would avoid selections that you might... More

Definitely the fanciest restaurant in Tahiti and the food and service are there to match. The Duck appetizer was amazing and one of the best duck dishes I've eaten. and the Vanilla Pancake Souffle for dessert should not be missed. Ambiance is great on the waters edge looking looking out to Moorea for sunset with sharks and other large fish... More

This is actually called Te Tiare not Le Tiare. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. Their ambience is great and so are the hotel staff. However, the dinner buffet was just okay to me. Some of the choices were good but nothing blew my top off. And the drinks were extremely watered down. I do not drink often and... More

Fitst they served out food cold. Then reheated a seared raw tuna so that it resembled shoe leather. We sent it back and walked out, and went to the Lotus instead, which we freely recommend. Worth the price difference twice over.

Food is average. Service is excellent. Prices are redicuous even for Tahiti. I could not believe anyplace could charge 48.00 per person for breakfast.

We had our anniversary dinner there and it was perfection. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. The whole experience was so special we will remember it always. It is a bit pricey so be prepared but worth every amount spent. The views of the ocean and the ambience of the whole restaurant made everything so special on... More

Lets face it, you head here for lunch to sit overlooking the pool and enjoy the weather. It is a great setting for lunch and dinner. The food is very well prepared and they have one of the best cocktail lists on the island. I enjoyed the Mahi Mahi which was cooked to perfection. The Hendrick's Gin Martini was also... More

Everything we tried was excellent. Very friendly and efficient service. The manager Vatea Manea came over to make sure we were completely satisfied.

The hotel restaurant ‘Le Tiare’ is very good if somewhat pricey. Everything is expensive in Polynesia so one must accept that or not visit. Food is great and the pace truly French. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. On Wednesday and Saturday nights they offer a Tahitian buffet with a show. On the Saturday we were there it was the Ballet... More

Excellent food with a large assortment of options...it was set in an open area, with little birds waiting for you to drop something..the buffet they have on the weekends, is just the best ! I don't eat a lot for breakfast, so it was nice they had an "express" breakfast, which consisted of coffee, juice and several homemade pastries.....just enough... More
