Very Good for Hotel Food

Ate here many times during our stay at the Intercontinental. Wide variety of dining options and almost all meals were quite good and not as unreasonably priced as you might think for an Intercontinental Hotel in French Polynesia. Service staff was very good as well.

Its an average experience. There were insects on the buffet fruit. The local dance and singing show is entertaining in the evening. Service is fair. Breakfast was fine but average.

We stayed here twice at each end of a cruise. Breakfast was OK but generally the food wasn't good, particularly the Friday evening buffet which was poor. Whilst I appreciate that an open sided restaurant attracts flies and local birds, a system should be devised to keep the food covered to reduce that problem, it is very off-putting to approach... With our Intercontinental Club membership we were entitled to complimentary buffet breakfast in Le Tiare restaurant, a combination indoor/outdoor restaurant. Very attentive staff, pleasant atmosphere.

This is the restaurant of the Le Meridien Papeete Hotel. The food is really expensive, the place has a nice view and decoration, and the food was ok, but didn't have a relation with the cost.

After numerous stays at the Intercontinental Tahiti and many enjoyable meals at La Tiare, we can't say enough good things about the preparation of the food, the quality, the visual arrangement and the taste. The breakfasts are perhaps the best in all of French Polynesia; their lunch menu is diversified enough to please any age, and the evening meal is... More

We were here for Brunch (included with our room), a regular breakfast, late lunch and dinner. I am not sure if they are under staffed or super slow. For the prices and it being located at the intercontinental resort it was very disappointing. Food is less than mediocre and we really didn't have costly options to go off the resort... More
