Best meal in Tahiti

We went to the Lotus on our last night at the Intercontinental, and we wish we had gone earlier. Lovely dining experience, with great food and service, a sensational setting, and a five-star style.

Breakfast buffet was mediocre at a price of $50 usd per person. Mostly fresh fruits, breads, scrambled eggs etc. Dinner buffet consisted of green beans, tuna, chicken and rice. I am not kidding, that was all they had at the buffet, for again a ridiculously high price, which seems standard for Tahiti.

We had a dinner in this restaurant when we stayed in Intercontinental hotel. Place is absolutely amazing, the settings is very romantic, the service is top-notch and the food is delicious. We shared a 4 course dinner and a bottle of rose wine ($150 all together) - it was plenty to eat for two people and we spent the best... More

This restaurant is literally over the waters edge. It opens from 6.30-9.30pm. I suggest if you don't mind eating earlier to go around 6.30. The views over the water are stunning as the sun is setting. Also great views looking over to Moorea. The food is very good. We had a lovely parrot fish for a starter and the red... More

The location is just unbeatable, the staff is amazing and the prices might seem a bit higher but it is absolute worth it. We could one appetiser and a small entree. The quality of the food is superb and kudos to the chef. You also have the opportunity to watch the fish in the ocean which is just so cute... More

We had a romantic dinner included in our package otherwise we probably would not have eaten here. Cost of the meal with a bottle of champagne (and no other drinks) was $315 USD. There were several courses with "French" size proportions.

We ended up getting stuck in Tahiti on our way back from Bora Bora but ended up having a lovely dinner and evening. We really enjoyed this restaurant and celebrated our daughter's birthday here. The staff was attentive and made it feel like a festive experience. The food was good - we all had very different things and each was... More

We spent a night here for dinner. The restaurant is an overwater balcony and you can see sharks and rays passing below you! Moreover the staff is very polite and helpful and the food...delicious!!

Yes it's a lovely location, but you can only take advantage of that if you go for lunch, rather than after dark. We went for dinner. They give you a complimentary amuse bouche and appetizer. You have to really like seafood. I had the scallops, my husband has the pork, both very good. Dessert was excellent. Service was spotty.
