Perfect dining

The food was great, the portions had a good size, and there was a good variety of foods, as we were tired of eating polinesian food, we had other options. The price was very high but it seemed to be normal in tahiti..

Places to visit in Papeete include the Paul Gaugin Museum and Tomb of Pomare 5. Pearls everywhere all at different grades. You can swim in the pools at the Intercontinental for free if you have lunch there - so we did. Lunch at Le Lotus at the Intercontinental on the water's edge. 3 star Michelin Chef. I had: La longe... Nice dinner at Le Lotus. Fine example of what the Intercontinental does right here - a wonderful meal, ocean front with a lovely view from all tables. Good menu and wine selections. We've enjoyed this restaurant over several years. We did notice the staff seemed busier than previous visits - even though there were many vacant tables, but they got... More

This restaurant is located on the premises of the Intercontinental Resort Tahiti. We would walk past it every day going to and from our overwater bunglalow. We finally took a look at the menu and became intrigued at the Polynesian/Asian Fusion offerings. Despite the fairly high prices, we decided to go, It was worth it. Each dish was carefully prepared,... More

Ate dinner here as we were only staying at the Intercontinental one night (which I have also reviewed). The setting is beautiful! As other reviewers have mentioned, ask for or request a table at the edge so you are next to the water -- there are lights that illuminate the water and the fish below. The tables were lovely and... Cosy atmosphere for this restaurant located in the Intercontinental Tahiti. Choose/ask a table by the side of the terraces to have the sea view. The food is mixing flavours from Polynesia and France, the service good and you get some extra sides when taking the menu.

The ambience is lovely, service good, not exceptionally attentive however very accommodating with special requests. Cool thatched roofed restaurant over the lagoon waters with great view of Moorea. The food was very good yet not exceptional. Avocado soup was delicious, the fresh fish delightful, the calamari just ok as was the salad. The waiter was not that attentive probably due... More

When we arrived at the resort for dinner, the tables over the water looked beautiful! but unfortunately the food was average, small servings for the price and not as tasteful as other French cuisine restaurants we visited. Expectation of the mains for the price was a bit disappointing and expect to pay at least $200 for a couple for dinner... More

My wife and I had lunch here today. The food was quite good. I had the avocado cold soup which was outstanding. My main course was the fish with bananas. It was good, but not nearly as good as the soup. The service was excellent, and the scenery is beyond compare.
