Within the Intercontinental Resort FAAA, the Lotus is probably one of if not the best restaurant in Tahiti. Beautiful location open air on the water, with a waterside table you can watch the fish. The food is gourmet. If you are brave try the Kangaroo it is fabulous. Service is excellent. Alcoholic beverages are a bit pricey.

I enjoyed a very nice meal at this restaurant with a group. Service was good and the food was excellent. Open air environment right on the water very nice. If you are staying at the Intercontinental I would definitely recommend dining here.

This is the most unique restaurant in French Polynesia located at the InterContinental Resort in Tahiti. Elite all the way, excellent refreshing lunch right over the lagoon... save your left over bread for the hundreds of fishes just below your feet. Outstanding ocean view ! Everything on the menu is excellent !!! At night it's a exotic yet French gourmet... More

This is a top of the class restaurant in the traditional French style. Outstanding menu and service as well as a superb wine list. You need to see the menu and decide if the pricing is for you before reserving a table over water. We found the lunch menu significantly less expensive than the dinner menu. Reservation for the evening... More

As noted in our review of InterContinental Resort Tahiti, the Lotus is easily the best restaurant on the property. And, we ranked our first meal there among our top five for the multi week trip to Tahiti and Bora Bora. We ate twice at Lotus. For both visits to Lotus, we had the four course (Degustation) tasting menu - once... More

We had seen very good reviews and decided to splurge on dinner here while staying at the InterContinental (see separate review for resort). We were not disappointed with the restaurant and I would rate the service as outstanding. We will certainly eat here again if we are ever fortunate enough to return to French Polynesia in the future.

Le Lotus, the gourmet restaurant on the Intercontinental premises, was recommended by the concierge, Thierry. He told us the restaurant was one of the very best in Tahiti, and that we had better visit that evening because it was fully booked the following evening. The dinner for two, including a nice bottle of wine, ran us about US$400, but it... More

On our recent stays at the Intercontinental we ate at The Lotus on 2 occasions. Both times we kicked back with some wine and looked at the panoramic views. We tried to order light as we were just trying to relax a bit and put something in our bellies. We ended up with more food than we had expected. Our... More
