Great food, tasting menu is a must!

Really enjoyed the food, I went when Fran Vicente was there as a guest chef, couldn't fault any of the dishes. I was disappointed that they still did the bread trick in such a restaurant, I was aware this happened in Lanzarote but didn't expect these guys to lower themselves. The bread was put on... read more

Best fine dining in lanzarote......great food, excellent service, and wonderful ambience. We had the testing menu, as did most people in there.....the normal menu is very pricey and so we that we'd try the taster, good selection of different dishes all very seasonal and beatifully cooked and presented...will defiantly go again, thoroughly recommended

We decided to book an evening meal at La Tegala for a Saturday night. The restaurant was recommended on The Telegraph website as one of the best in Lanzarote. We had an absolute fantastic meal ! The food was truely outstanding, as well as the service and the professionnalism of all the staff. Our table (4 adults and a 10... More

We visited on a Saturday night, to partake of the Tasting menu. We sampled 5 different dishes accompanied by different Lanzarotean wines. The Volcano white wine was especially good (we bought some from the bodega 2 days (All the dishes are small amounts but at the end you are full). The restaurant is elevated and the panoramic views from the... More

Really wanted to love this place and was pleased to be able to get a table at the last minute to enjoy an upmarket dining experience. Classy interior with sea views in the distance. Clearly a professionally run operation. My husband ordered fillet steak. That was almost as far as out experience went as for the second time in 2... More

Very nice welcome, professional and friendly team. Incredible starters. But - What a shame. Main dish - pigeon confit. Meat was cold inside. This can always happen, even in a noble place. But the comment that: this is low temperature cooking, and can not be warm, was a disaster. Meat was warm on the surface and cold inside. Low temperature... More

Many people say it's presently the best restaurant on the island. It's very good indeed, but I would not consider it the best... Maybe we did wrong by chosing the tasting (8-course) menu... The first three were too small to actually enjoy them fully (especially the crisy chestnuts); the fried fish with algae was nothing special, the Bird infusion, flowers... More

Beautiful, modern constructed restaurant. We took the tasting menu, first three 'courses' are mini preparations in one dish other 5 dishes are small but very tasteful. Maincourse was goat, soft and tasteful again but nothing with it, like vegetable for example. Service of this menu is to fast, in 2 hours the menu with 3 different wines will be done..Price... More

An impressive menu - almost too much choice but creative and tempting combinations for sure. Unfortunately the lobster and scallop creamed rice (risotto in effect) was disappointing, not least as you only get one lobster (or was it really a langoustine?) tail and one halved scallop on a mountain of rice, which was a chore to finish and became bland...
