A theatrical delight, encompassing the best of Lanzarote's local produce and wine Expertly cooked and presented. As an aperitif, ask for the gin and tonic list, it is world class. The value is extraordinary. The textures, combinations and foresight to put it all together, breathtaking. Michelin Guide, please take note. A gourmets delight. Very pleasant staff in an ergonomically designed... More

Recently we took a holiday in Lanzarote and decided to try La Tegala. The meal was fun and exciting and it felt like the chef had lots of modern techniques and was eager to show them as much as possible. They offer a choice of a tasting menu or a-la-carte. For starters we ordered a lobster salad and duck tartare.... More

We went on a Saturday night at 7.30 and it was quiet when we arrived but got busier later so it's probably worth reserving a table if you want to eat after this time. The menu had a mixture of different food, both modern and more traditional Canarian dishes, all of which sounded both interesting and tasty. However, we decided... More

The location and restaurant and layout with about 30 covers convey the fine dining vibe. There were only 10 dining when we ate here and three service personnel. The service wasn't quite attentive enough to catch wine service beyond the initial pour. That isn't good enough really. Excellent breads nice wine list. Starters hit the mark with smoked salmon and... More

My wife and I were recommended this restaurant by friends in London for our Anniversary and we were not disappointed. We had the menu degustation (one with wine, and the other without). Both the food and the wine were sublime with my favorite courses being the one least anticipated from the menu! The service was extremely professional - my wife... More

Having been a patron of this restaurant since it opened I was very unsure when Gérman Blanco took the helm. I am lucky to be able to visit the island 3/4 times a year but this was my first visit to La Tegala since the changeover. I had been told that it was not as good and that the service... More

It has taken a number of years for me to make the journey from PDC to Macher (10 minutes in taxi) which was a big mistake on my part. The Restaurant s stunning, from the entrance, the floor to ceiling windows through to the décor. Whilst we were tempted the choices on the a la carte menu we decided on the... More

This restaurant was recommended by two lots of people. We booked to celebrate my birthday. Reading other reviews, I wonder whether we visited on an off evening. On arrival, we waited for some time before staff recognised that we were waiting, when we were shown to our table. After some 20 minutes, we were asked if we would like something... More

This was the second time that we went to "La Tegala", and it was even better than the first time! We have celebrated a birthday with friends and were incredibly well served. Food, wine and the service was great. Thanks. And it is obvious that we go back next time we are on Lanzarote Island. Hope to go back very... More
