Local cuisine, cheap and good quantity

Looks like it is ran by family or relatives. The food is authentic. Be careful of the food smell if you seat inside. We chose the terrace. I loved this place.

This family-run restaurant is a gem almost at the end of the island. It is nothing fancy, not the place to go for a romantic candle-lit dinner, but the food was amazing and the experience was unforgettable. When we asked what fish was available, the waitress (the owners' daughter) took us over to the kitchen cooler and opened drawer after... More

After seeing the choices of fresh fish, I chose fried squid and at the waitress' recommendation I also ordered the fried tomato balls. The servings were enough for two people and was delicious. I will definitely be going back before leaving the island.

We came to Giorgaros and were personally served by the family! One chooses their seafood from fresh tray of fish caught on the same day! Had great grilled red mallet! Wonderful view!

A family run restaurant, if I was rating on the service alone I'd say this restaurant is good. The son and also our waiter kindly picked us up and returned us to our hotel free of charge. The family were welcoming, letting us look at the fish on offer as we were unsure of the menu. However, there's a big... More

Typical taverna style restaurant, but with great views, friendly service, great fish and all for a very reasonable price. Quality ingredients and a desire to please makes this a little different to the typical Santorini offering. If you want glitz and can't handle a puppy strolling around, go elsewhere. If you want a great meal in a wonderful spot near... More

The last restaurant before the lighthouse at the end of the island of Santorini. The view is nice. Very rural and out of the beaten path. The food is simple but tasty. It comes in generous portion for the price. The service is good.

The place to eat on your way to the Acrotiri lighthouse at the south westernmost tip of the Caldera, or simply to relax and enjoy food, wine, amazing views and friendly service after visiting the excavations in Akrotiri We had grilled squid, fried fish and grilled sea bream, all accompanied by Greek salad. The portions were HUGE, each enough for... More

We went to Giorgaros based on the recommendations of our hotel owner in Akrotiri. The location is beautiful, very close to the Akrotiri lighthouse, with open views of the caldera. Quite a unique setting in Santorini as there are very few houses constructed around the area. Giorgaros specializes in fresh fish and seafood. Prices are one of the lowest of... More
