My wife and I decided to try this resto based on the recommendation of the Lonely Planet. We were the only customers when we got there so we were a bit wary. We were very glad we stayed. The staff/owners were very welcoming and warm. My wife and I both had pizzas (I know, but we wanted something other than... More

We had a lovely dinner here, with charming, laid-back service and great food. We would totally recommend this tranquil place to anyone. The have a second restaurant a little further up the street which is also really special.

This is a wonderful experience! This restaurant brings you authentic napoletan flavors on a little table in a small wonderful street of Hydra. We took the time to taste the wonderful dishes brought with a nice and passionate service!

Da Barba Dimas was one of the best choices of my trip to Hydra. Great food and the waiters are really nice and always available, just as the real neapolitan restaurants. The place is not panoramic, but it is located in a typical small greek street and this makes the atmosphere perfect to undergo a real italian experience. The wines... More

I would highly recommend this restaurant, situated just a short walk from the harbour down a charming little street. The service is not only fast but extremely friendly which made for a very pleasant evening. The pasta is cooked perfectly al dente and the linguine with mussels was absolutely delicious. This is the first restaurant I would go back to... More

I have dined here before and had great memories of this place. Its a small restaurant run by an Italian father and his sons. It has a great feel to it, with a wonderful ambience in a pretty small street with romantic candlelights and flowers etc. The wine list was Italian which is a great break from the Greeks wines,... I’m a huge fan of Greek good but for a week on The Rock our family needed some variety of quality food, and twice dined here. This charming al fresco Neapolitan restaurant – run by a father and sons – is a three minute walk from the waterfront and quietly situated on Tombazi Street. The owner is welcoming and happy... More

Although Greek salads and souvlaki's tastes great we got tired of the Greek menus. Happily we found this Italian place, with excellent food and very friendly service. Nice and quiet location, and by far the best dinners we had on Hydra. Perhaps it's like swearing in church by saying so but alas it's true. A cold limoncello after the meal... More

We are regular visitors to hydra, and it has been a year or so since we dined here. Unfortunately the restaurant disappointed us greatly , apart from the nice courtyard. The starters were deep fried and not tasty, while the pasta was tough and the sauce was congealed, frankly it tasted like it had been cooked a few days ago... More

Good evening Miss Diane, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your evening in our restaurant and we're especially sorry you feel so strongly about it to write a rewiew like this, but let me assure you it comes to us as a surprise in many ways as its never happened in three years here.
