Nice location. Nice staff. Salty taste-less fish soup almost without fish. Terrible coffee. Overpriced.

I had dinner at the Fiskekrogen. Food was good and the plates were nice and full size The service was very friendly but not "too friendly" price like all Norway restaurants are on the high side.

The restaurant proposed us a catch of the day, baked cod in butter sauce. Unfortunately we failed to ask "which day". When we ventilated our disappointment at the freshness of the fish, the waitress specified that the catch was in fact six months old and had been kept in vacuum storage since. She added that this was the overall habit... More

Stopped for a late lunch and got immediate seating outside. Great view, sun and no one was smoking. The service was friendly, professional and prompt. The fish soup was rich, flavorful and loaded with cod. They served a generous portion of bread with the soup and the house white wine was a perfect pairing. My husband had the fish and... More

Friendly staff with presentation of menu and drinking recommendations. Lovely fish soup which we had for starter, creamy and full of fish and vegetables. Therefore surprised when the plate of Bukna fish was so big. Had beer and aquavita with the fish, a traditional meal and experience combined with restaurant gourmet quality. Lovely. Had the three course set menu; Fish... More

Great location and fantastic food, well worth the detour. In any event, situated in Henningsvaer, a nice fishing village which you should visit anyway

We stayed in Henningsvaer on our last night on a road-trip in the Lofotens. We arrived at this restaurant on a very busy night so service was a bit slow - although they were very nice and friendly and helpful. We has some amazing sashimi to start (including smoked whale, which dare I admit it was divine!). For main course... More
