They serve great food and of course good drinks. Live music on many nights. Well worth a visit! The place to visit while in Honningsvær.

We went to eat at the Fiskekrogen as it seemed to be one of the only places open in March- but what a nice surprise. The food was excellent. Local seafood and a small but great choice of wines invite you to an enjoyable evening. The view out to the harbor while dining makes the experience even more authentic. The... More

Henningsvaer in early March is not exactly teeming with people and as the restaurant in the Bryggehotell itself was closed, this was our only option for an evening meal. The restaurant is nicely situated right on the harbour and it was warm and pleasant inside. There was a limited selection of local produce and as cod toungues and cod liver... More

Excellent seafood, great location. Quiet when we were there towards the end of August. Bring deep pockets to pay the bill!

Our dinner there was really delicious, with the seafood platter for two served with very generous portions of lobster and red crab. We dined inside as it was quite late already (I think you need to order by 10PM in late August), which was quite pleasant but the view outside is exceedingly pretty - so get a table by the... More

Fiskekrogen's seafood is fresh and delicious - definitely worth the visit! It's not the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for. The only drawback is that my bacalo was slightly cold and the waiter seemed more interested in waiting the other customers than us, perhaps because we're only young students who don't order appetizers.

Nothing like bouillabaise fish soup! Something different! Al lot of white fish, leek, green herbs, olive oil and a lot of cream. But not heavy! When they brought out the plate, I thought it wouldn't be enough for a main dish, but it was. Loved it!

We may have been in the Venice of the North but the food did not match it's Italian counterpart. A bowl of fish soup with bread from the lunch time menu cost in excess of £20 so our expectations were high. Sadly, although the portion was generous the quality was pretty average. The bread, although apparently only baked the previous... More

This restaurant was awesome. We were disappointed the first evening we stopped by, since there was no room for us. We quickly learned our lesson and reserved for the next night. Service and food were excellent. It was well worth coming back the second night.

The little town of Henningsvær surpasses all the food there. Doesn't matter what you eat the place is gorgeous. On the way stop at the little beach with turquoise waters for a seashell walk or just sit and stare wow! The fish soup at Fiskekroken is fine too.
