Visited this taverna on Tripadviser recommendation and wasn't disappointed. Absolutely amazing views down to the sea and fabulous sunset. The food is all home made and excellent. Would recommend it to anyone.

This is a must place to visit if you r in crete in the village of maroulas taverna fantastico is beautiful the views are amazing the food is wonderful weve been 3 times now and would never tire of it if you go just before sunset its breathtaking just amazing :)

Amazing food , amazing location with amazing views , a must place to visit while in Crete . Best time to go is at sunset you get breathtaking photos from up there especially as it has outdoor seating

We were taken here by the family who run the apartments we were staying at so, fortunately, we did not encounter any problems finding the restaurant! Fantastico is high on the mountain just above the village of Marulas with views down along the coast good time to go is before sunset and watch the sun set while enjoyiong a good meal. But take a taxi .

Went there three times in one week. We all loved the food and the family could not have been nicer. Best Local food, fresh seafood and home grown vegetables in the area. The view is spectacular try to get there for the sunset.
